I m choosing this course because i am already dropped 3 years for NEET exam to get a MBBS seat in any govt. College, but i am disappointed my marks not increses and competition will also increased from year to year so i finally decide to choose any course and i got seat in BHU . There are 150 strength in my class i.e 1st year You know BANARAS HINDU UNIVERSITY is a good college and there quality of education is also good . Exam occurs on timely every year . And if you learn then every exam is easy to pass .

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure of bsc nursing course is changing year to year i.e 1st fee is 7800/- 2nd year 6680/- 3rd year 5890/- and on 4th year 4400/- There is many scholarship program offer by college. Till now there is no stipend provided by institute of medical science, BHU ,varanasi.

Campus Life

Recently there is a annual fest named as KASHIYATRA , ALIXER there is many more fest organized by college or student itself . Such events occurs specially on winter season between Nov- Feb . There are a lots of books in library and you also study from computers in central library . Classroom is well maintained., equipped with modern teaching aids and comfortable seating arrangement. Campus also provide sports facilities for a range of activities including indoor or outdoor games.

Admission

For the eligibility of the course you should completed 12 th or equivalent board with minimum of 50% . And you will be science student , so that you can give NEET exam . After qualifying neet exam you must have score between 510- 550 for obc ,530 + for gen and for sc and st marks below 450 can also have a chance to get a seat in bsc nursing, bhu , varanasi. You know that NEET 2024 held on first week of may so be prepared . Admission process is easy .....

"An honest review of sgpgi college: What to expect"

Placement Experience:

The campus doesnt provide placements. Though sgpgi conducts its own test for vacancy of nursing. If you had studied from here chances are there youd get selected here inly and start doing job henceforth earning. I mean which institute doesn't prefer its own child. The students become illegible to give exam at the end of 4th year though there has been instances when people have cleared exam but couldnt join as degree process is late. Therefore its necessary to understand you can only join the job when you've the degree in hand. Mistly students who study here 5%-10% get job here itself. Rest of people get in other government hospitals. But its safe to say they all are earnibg good and are in government job. My plan after the degree is to possible join somewhee as tutor and side by side hustling for MSc for better pay scale and job perspectives. The bright side of this course is either you can go in clinical field or you can join as tutor. The sakary of nurse here in sgpgi is 1 lakh per month.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Job opportunities is so high after completion of the course. Curriculum strongly focuses on skill development of the students that will help them to achieve different milestones. There should be less no. of assignment in the curriculum and teaching method should be more interactive. There are 2 mid term exams and 1 semester exam in every 6 months. Exams are not that difficult.

Placement Experience:

When you complete your 4 year course then the students become eligible for campus placement. Their placement are Apolo hospital Fortis hospital Max hospital Ganga ram hospital 100% placement provide our college. And my planes after getting the degree is that I want to give government exam and I also want to do msc in nursing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Choosing this course was my own decision but after joining it helped me to indulge more in it. It prepares us to face many major and minor critical conditions regarding human beings. Teaching method is usually based on faculty we get. But ours is the best and they examine us in every one month on the basis of some lengthy exams and some shorts exminations.
