Remarks

From my point of view, I got selected after a personal interview. You have to report to the college reception first and after that, you will be counselled by the counsellor regarding the admission process. Then you have to fill the admission form by paying the cost of Rs 500 (at that time) then you have to go through a personal interview and after that, your admission will be confirmed and you will, later on, receive a letter for selection that includes all the remaining formalities and date of joining

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I like to serve people and mankind and nursing is the course that helps me to achieve my aim. As per the faculty student ratio is concerned I didn't know the exact but they are having more than 4-5 teachers of the same speciality and that's quite sufficient for us. The faculty was highly qualified and have many years of experience in their respective specialities. They all are good at teaching and very passionate about their students. In terms of the terminal exams, the exam will be 3 times per year.

Internships Opportunities

5

There will be many reputed hospitals like apollo, BLK, and Kailash. You will be appointed as a trainee in the Kailash group of hospitals. The trainee helps us to learn a lot of skills and make us like a staff.

Placement Experience

5

You are eligible for campus placement in 4th year in hospitals like apollo, metadata, and Kailash group of hospitals. The highest average package is 4.2 l per annum. The placement is very high as the institute is known by its name and quality of education and training. I will do my MSc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of the study is not that much and it's affordable. The most important thing is that there will be no hidden charges in fees. The fees remain the same as instructed at the time of admission. The students may avail scholarships on the basis of marks and also government scholarships. The college also provides campus placement and stipend to some students as incentives.

Campus Life

5

There will be a fresher party and farewell party annually. The monthly birthday celebration will be there. Library consists of numerous amount of books of all the subjects and other books also of both indian and foreign other. The monthly journals will be there from different departments.

Hostel Facilities

5

The rooms are equipped with a bed and almirah along with a table and chair. There was a total of 4 meals/ day including breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner with a variety of foods and You have to fill hostel form for joining.

Interview Experience

5

My total interview is good there will be some general questions only but right now the student has to go through the entrance test for the selection. The exam pattern will be the same as the neet paper pattern.

Placement Experience:

The campus doesnt provide placements. Though sgpgi conducts its own test for vacancy of nursing. If you had studied from here chances are there youd get selected here inly and start doing job henceforth earning. I mean which institute doesn't prefer its own child. The students become illegible to give exam at the end of 4th year though there has been instances when people have cleared exam but couldnt join as degree process is late. Therefore its necessary to understand you can only join the job when you've the degree in hand. Mistly students who study here 5%-10% get job here itself. Rest of people get in other government hospitals. But its safe to say they all are earnibg good and are in government job. My plan after the degree is to possible join somewhee as tutor and side by side hustling for MSc for better pay scale and job perspectives. The bright side of this course is either you can go in clinical field or you can join as tutor. The sakary of nurse here in sgpgi is 1 lakh per month.

Job opportunities is so high after completion of the course. Curriculum strongly focuses on skill development of the students that will help them to achieve different milestones. There should be less no. of assignment in the curriculum and teaching method should be more interactive. There are 2 mid term exams and 1 semester exam in every 6 months. Exams are not that difficult.
