Events are so nice and cool. So many days are celebrating here.
So many student's in a single batch so so many friends thats a blessings
Food spot near college are attraction of us. So many cafe to visit in weekends

Dislikes

Hostel is not well but is ok . Manageable by us
Holidays ate low than other college since we are medical students it happens 🥲
Academic is tough and is usually same in all colleges.

I love mbbs that's why I opt for it. Here in a single batch There is 250 students so faculty students ratio is low. Faculties are well qualified doctors. There will be three internal exams which are conducted by the faculty.

Class Size: 250Course Fees: INR 28000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is available in different categories. Seniors will guide us to avail the Scholarship. I have applied for momo Scholarship but it is delay due to some issues but it's all right we will get it soon.

Campus Life

Campus life is so nice. We will get so many fest and events which are conducted by college union . It is full of dj parties musical events by famous bands and so on. Extracurricular activity are also available in both sports and arts. I'm in cricket team and mime for interzone competition.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is a little old building so facilities are not well but manageable. Mess food is good and very budget friendly. Register is done at the time of admission. Everything is under the control of students and run by students even food.

Hostel Fee: INR 8000 per year

Admission

Based on all India entrance examination , neet conducted in every year. Fee is about 1500. Reservation is also available. Now a days the examination is tougher than last time. Full of motivation is needed for cracking the exam

My dream college in reality.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is of high relevance as it ensures that the student learns everything he need to learn in an mbbs life to become a good doctor. The curriculum we are now following is decided by the National Medical Council (NMC) of India and is CBME curriculum. The curriculum include many Self directed learning methods and small group discussions etc which makes the learning interesting and easy. The curriculum definitely prepares the students to become a good doctor in future. Some minute improvements are still required like no need of these many SGDs for community medicine and forensic. It'll be better to include more field activities in community medicine . The frequency and timing of exams are sometimes a burden for the students as the exams are so close and they are not getting enough time to improve themselves which may affect their confidence. Sometimes the exams are scheduled in between some meets conducted by university which makes it difficult for the students to participate.

Calicut Medical College - an ideal place to learn and grow as a doctor

I got admission on state quota (general category) after giving the NEET exam in 2019. I scored 646/ 720 and had an AIR rank of 1039 and state rank of 131. The overall application process was easy and all the necessary forms were given in the college itself. The admission dates were informed in the state website of Kerala, which can be found after filling the application for state quota. Application fees was paid in the college treasury itself.
