Things to know about Kanpur Institute of Technology

This course [B. Tech CSE] is an high demand and the number of placements in this college is highest in this branch. Some faculties are PhD holders and some of the faculties have master's degree. Quality and method of teaching is good but practical classes are not so fair.

Students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester there are several companies who have visited in my college for placement purpose the average package in my college is 4LPA and the highest package students got in this year 2024 is 7 LPA. If you have skills and knowledge to crack an interview then there is enough opportunity in my college for placements.

The annual fees of the course is 105000 in which 20000 they take as a admission fees and remaining amount is paid in two installments annually. There is no increment of fees, if you have paid the fees in first year then the same is will be applicable for rest of the years. Only those students who have given entrance exam for getting admission in BTech will be applicable for scholarship. Scholarship for direct admissions are not allowed.

There are several annual festivals organised in the college like farewell party freshers party and their also many quizzes and competitions organised by the college like robo war, technical quizzes, non-tech quizzes, hackathon . Sports competitions are also organised by my college like cricket competition, badminton competition etc.

Hostel facility is good hostel is inside the college campus and two students are allowed in a room. Two birds two chairs and two tables are given in a room for two students and amenities like cooler, light, fan are given in the room. The quality of meal is fair they provide breakfast , lunch and dinner in a day.
