Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum and faculty members are good in our department but the west Bengal technical bord is very bad to there procedure . The bord need to new members of there commity but they don't know where the problem of the students. I chooses the course because I want to set up my construction bisness. The faculty and students ratio is 4:1. Qualification of the faculty is good but there teaching method is very bad. Seriously the exams sedule is most 3rd class and they are not able to complete full syllabus so that students are in pressure.

Class Size: 11Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is good . After the semester we want to pay the course fees. There are not good job opportunity. If u want to pay the fees of exam in banking method they will provide us to bank finance but we will back the money.

Campus Life

Seriously I say that our half of collage time we spend in campus because there are not sufficient class room in our building. And of class time is very bad our class is started after 1 p.m .our annual function name -"namaste " . Only subject book is given by library but they allotment the next semester book this is very bad problem.

Admission

Yes I was given a entrance exam to addmit the course.. minimum 10 th pass of any words. No I am general cust.. I think that's needed to improvement to admission process because there are Manu black marketing

My Experience at TPI as a 3rd Year Diploma Undergrad

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Big names are associated with TPI for campus placements. But for Computer Science students, very few companies arrive, that too with very less salaries. (not worth it). It is generally reccomendable if you can do a Btech is come college and work on your skills there, your employbility gets higher. Highest package from Computer Science is 20 LPA (off-campus) and lowest package is 1.8 LPA (on-campus). Generally on campus placements range from 2 to 3 LPA.

We college have many companies like tata motors, cumming company, dana limites, spices limited, Ashok Leyland. Mahindra. L and t company and much more high package is 3.5 lakh per annum aur department students got 90 per cent placed. I have been placed in tata motors which gives me 3.2 lacs per annum. My plan is to do b tech at Jadavpur University.

Overall a good college with best placement

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement in the final year of the diploma course. Most companies like Wipro TCS visit our college. The average package is 5 lahks and 90 percent of students got placed in every branch.

Best start for a professional life

Placement Experience:

From fifth semester semester students became eligible for campus drive recruitment. And college also started campus drive. As i earlier mentioned that campus drive are not that much satisfying at all during 2012-2014. I was passed out at 2014 & in my time there's only one company came for civil engineering branch except that all are IT companies. For electronics & telecommunication and Computer science student there's lots of scope at that period. Some of them got package of 3.6 lakh per annum which may be the highest package as far as i know during my days. In an average we get 2 lakh per annum package. I just set one campus drive recruitment of Printika pvt. Ltd. which recruited almost 15 civil engineer from our branch. They offered 2 lakh per annum package to all. As a percentage of placed student from my branch is almost 20%. Overall from 2014 batch it'll be 30-50%. Unfortunately i didn't placed from that placement drive as I'm planning for higher study.
