Likes

I get so many friends, more than anyone can imagine,since so many students in Single batch
All fest are Super. Main bands , songs by famous people, df parties all are very nice
Atmosphere and environment are friendly with lot of trees and birds

Dislikes

Hostel is not well ,but more than enough. Oke oke
No leave ,full classes but leave is there in common purpose of only.
Crow shit is a major problem in evening time , but alright since nature friendly and relaxing.

I like MBBS, course is tough or easy based on your will ????. Faculty students ratio is low in our college,but it's enough, since our college provides 250 MBBS seats per year. Faculty are well qualified doctors in certain departments.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 28000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee is not so much , but also scholarship are also available based on different categories. We can avail it easily. I got OBC grants scholarship of same amount as fee , but some delay will be there,but it's alright ????.

Campus Life

Basically our college is full of fest , so so much that I can't mention. Our students union will organise and conduct all special days as program. Extra curricular activities and weel , you can opt what you like. No lact of sports in our college.and we are the winner in all fest sports and arts conducted by kuhs

Hostel Facilities

Only problem I faced was hostel, since our college is old and established in early 19 s so hostel are also old. Facility are are not well but it's oke . There is good phone range and wifi in all hostel that's all I need. Food is also cheap and good , better than other college,bz I have friends there.

Hostel Fee: INR 6500 per year

Admission

Based on NEET entrance exam , all indian exam.student should be plus two science, and certain age group also there.Exam fee is 1500 at my time , reservation benefits are there, where I got OBC that's why I get Kozhikode.

My dream college in reality.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is of high relevance as it ensures that the student learns everything he need to learn in an mbbs life to become a good doctor. The curriculum we are now following is decided by the National Medical Council (NMC) of India and is CBME curriculum. The curriculum include many Self directed learning methods and small group discussions etc which makes the learning interesting and easy. The curriculum definitely prepares the students to become a good doctor in future. Some minute improvements are still required like no need of these many SGDs for community medicine and forensic. It'll be better to include more field activities in community medicine . The frequency and timing of exams are sometimes a burden for the students as the exams are so close and they are not getting enough time to improve themselves which may affect their confidence. Sometimes the exams are scheduled in between some meets conducted by university which makes it difficult for the students to participate.

Calicut Medical College - an ideal place to learn and grow as a doctor

I got admission on state quota (general category) after giving the NEET exam in 2019. I scored 646/ 720 and had an AIR rank of 1039 and state rank of 131. The overall application process was easy and all the necessary forms were given in the college itself. The admission dates were informed in the state website of Kerala, which can be found after filling the application for state quota. Application fees was paid in the college treasury itself.
