Remarks

Admission process was easy and eveything was conveyed via the website of the college which any one can refer. Eligibility of the course is through any one of the entrance tests with particular score in all of the tests respectively. As I submitted my scorecard of both CMAT and MAH-CET, with ~84%ile and ~96%ile respectively, I was shortlisted for the PI round, as the second stage for the final selection process. The details regarding application form, application fees, and all vital dates were available over the net. They have mentioned that the acceptance rate is 4%, which can be brought down, so that there can be some more good quality of students, undoubtedly it is alright now, but everyone wants to progress whether being an institute or any organisation for that matter, and hence just a suggestion for the same.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is designed in trimester pattern, which means in both the years, exams are conducted thrice, for checking how the students retain the various subjects and to provide the diversification and knowledge in the core domain which a student chooses. My course for the same is PGDM in Finance, as I wanted to be the CFO of a big organisation, and this course along with future insights would help me to move in the same direction. There are multiple reasons for choosing this course, one of those was this. The faculties in the institute are highly qualified, after getting there studies over from big institutes like IIT's and IIM's they focus to train future leaders through the mix of curriculum and there personal experiences too. The exams use to happen in every 3 months and were always scheduled on time, and it was not so easy to pass the exams, if you didn't go well read of the particular subject. Although Trimester 1 exam was not that tough because of the diversification.

Internships Opportunities

3

Internships at our institute are offered to all the students, and companies like CRISIL, Morgan Stanley, RBI comes for hiring interns for the various roles such as equity research analyst, finance management intern and many more. As per the stream and domain, the company brings in different roles for the students. There are focused projects and assignments been given to the students to make themselves ready to enter the corporate market with a good knowledge of basics and the concept to make it happen in the real world when given the opportunity.

Placement Experience

3.5

Students become eligible as soon as they enter ther 4th trimester, i.e. 2nd year. It all starts as soon as the batch starts for the 2nd year students. Big companies like, CRISIL, Morgan Stanley use to start the placement process by giving the best offers to the multifacet students. The Highest package in the year 2022-2024 was ?25.5 Lacks, which was offered by Bloomberg and with the help of Bloomberg lab, students here get knowledge of various aspects and the power of having 24 bloomberg terminals in South Asia, being the largest in numbers.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of the institute is ?14,50,000 for two years, i.e. ?7,50,000 per annum (Batch 2023-2025). The fees hike policy of our college is approximately 10%+ year on year, for each successing batch. The cost to study for an outsider is aprroximately ?2,05,000 per year as of now including the living, conveyance, eating expenses. The institute offers scholarship to the bright minds who enrolls in the program, considering the entrance test scores, 10th, 12th, and graduation scores, and the final result of 1st year. They mainly considers the students entrance test scores, for which the bare minimum is available on the colleges website. They have good connections with certain banks so as to facilitate easy loan disbursement to the needy students who could not invest such a hefty amount. The institute have connections with big companies for which as per the needs of the market and student they bring different roles which fit the corporate and make them ready to work in.

Campus Life

2.5

The life at campus is not that great because of the space constraint. Institute is located at a good market position but because of less space, they don't have there residential program to enroll with. Although there are many many committees in the college which use to conduct different fests at different time throughout the year, which all starts with Akarshan, the flagship event of Cultural Committee, and ending it at Evinco, a sport event, which is the craziest amongst juniors and seniors, organised by the same. The institute has a big chunk of books whether be it any novel, or international writers famous biography, or any other non fictional book. The classrooms are fully air conditioned with projector and water facility available inside each class. Many sporty activities are being in consideration and event is dedicated for the same. MSR, a social club depicts the My Social Responsibilty of every student towards the poor and needy people helps us all to be at our roots.

Interview Experience

4.5

As far as my process is concerned, it was around the latter part of COVID, so my offline interview was not that easy for me, and hence i opted for an online interview. Although I was given a topic to speak up on for 2 minutes, which we call as an extempore. It was proceeded by my Personal Interview. The interview went approximately for 15-20 minutes, ensuring the basic knowledge in any individual, something about their country, there hobbies, the domain which you had been into and general awareness. I prepared for this round, via the help of my previous coaching institute which gave me the roadmap to prepare oneself for any interview, through thouroughly knowing yourself first and speaking about something which you pursue. The inner motivation to join the institute helped me create a pathway in succeding all the tests and to occupy that one dream seat where i always want to be.

Other Applied Colleges

Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies - [NMIMS Deemed to be University] | Master of Business Administration [MBA]

I thought and what I heard regarding my current college is that it is much more enriched in terms of finance knowledge, as compared to NMIMS Hyderabad.

ICFAI Business School - [IBS] | Post Graduate Programme in Management [PGPM]

The current college is much better than IBS Mumbai campus, in maximum of the parameters, say placement opportunities, peers, conversion rate.
