In general, the college provides internship information through the placement cell, faculty references, and company drives. However, for students in finance-related courses, many internship opportunities offered through college are still largely focused on sales-oriented roles rather than pure finance analysis or technical financial work. This means that even students who specialize in finance often receive internship offers in profiles such as sales, client acquisition, business development, and financial product promotion. Placements in my college are moderate and can be described as average, especially for students from finance-related courses. Along with classroom education, students are encouraged to participate in cultural functions, annual gatherings, competitions, sports activities, seminars, and student-managed events. This helps students develop communication skills, teamwork, confidence, leadership, and creativity.

Yes, during the admission process for my college, I had to go through both a Group Discussion (GD) and a Personal Interview (PI) round as part of the selection process. These rounds were conducted after the initial eligibility screening and document submission. The purpose of these rounds was not only to evaluate academic readiness but also to understand communication ability, confidence, clarity of thought, and suitability for the course. The admission process was designed to assess students beyond marks, because many applicants had similar academic backgrounds. Therefore, GD and PI played an important role in final selection.

The college campus remains active mainly during regular academic timings. Once lectures end, student presence gradually decreases because there are no hostel facilities and students usually commute back home. The library, classrooms, and administrative sections generally remain open only during official college hours. After evening hours, academic activities stop and the campus becomes quiet. The college library is one of the important student spaces during the day. Students often use it before exams, for project work, and for reading reference books. However, the library usually closes by evening according to college schedule, so late-night study inside campus is not available. Since there is no hostel, there are no late-night study halls or residential student common areas inside the college.
