Remarks

Many of my friends' alma matter so is mine till date at least all of friends from electrical branch got a job four years of journey is still unforgettable at times I visit the campus till now as my brother is studying there.

I took AIEEE.

Internships Opportunities

There were chances with some foreign universities and CERN, but unfortunately I could not make it but I converted to Bechtel corporation which paid me 12k.

Placement Experience

Placements were nice far better than jadavpur university some of the best companies that recruited our batch were IOC, hpcl, Microsoft, bpcl, DRDO, coal India, Samsung, idea cellular, tata power, reliance infra, McNally bharat, m.n.dastur, tata Hitachi.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loans available from SBI and ubi and almost all other banks 100s of scholarship s are available.

Faculty

Course is very lengthy esp electrical engineering professors are good few are awesome.

The placement performance in my college is average few student get decent placement otherwise many sales company come and took the student .Around 30 percent student in my class got placement by college other strudents get placed by thereselves there is no role of placement and training department in this.

Shaping My Future: A Comprehensive Review of College Life and Academics

Placement Experience:

After 7th semester companies started coming and there is different criteria for different companies like some company have criteria for more then 8.5 cgpa will be able to seat only in their placement conducting it is totally based on company preferences. The highest package was 9 lpa and average package was 3 lpa. Around 60 percent student get placed in my department.

Companies started coming around 7 th semester there is different criteria for different companies like you have more tan nine cgpa then you are eligible for that particular company. Around 50 percent people in my class get placed . Companies like TCS ,wipro EY are mass hiring company.

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

My Honest Review For Nit Durgapur

Placement Experience:

Yes our college offers campus placements.Students from 4th year are eligible for campus placements.Many reputed nation and international companies like microsoft,Wipro,TCS, Infosys and many more companies offrers placement every year in this college. arrording to 2025 deta overall placement rate was 82 percent, Highest packege was 80 lpa and average packege was 12.6lpa. My only plan to get a good placements.

If you can't get campus placement , there is a high probability if you can apply for any job outside campus and you have relevant skills you can get it . Here students become eligible to sit in campus placement from 6th semester. Many companies come here. The average package here is 5 lakhs and the highest here is 20 lakhs it's gone.Here 95% of the students get placement.My plan is to do M.Tech after completing my degree.

I was getting all nits of india and also some iits.The only reasons of not choosing them is branch ,i was getting lower branches in all other colleges so i choose this. I think this was the best college onmy rank. NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

I applied to IIEST Shibpur and was getting ECE there but I chose this college because of its brand name, infrastructure and placement which are all way above shibpur. No I did not get any rejection form college I applied for.
