- The student union is helpfull to all kinds of things like form fill up , any issues regarding college
- The teachers and department stuff are friendly to approach and dedicated to their works . They are so helpfull
- The department are neat and clean . The room are spacious
Dislikes
- The cateen is not good . It's not hygienic at all
- Students smoke infront of the college . Nobody took action pn it
- Many students are using nasty word towards other student for harrassment.
Course Curriculum Overview
Actually I like plant nature that's why I choose botany but after that I get to know that nowadays a minimum students took the course in my year there are only 6 student in which 4 male 2 female students. The qualification of the teaching stuffs are well good but we get less classes to complete our syllabus due to excessive holidays like there was a function 2 days later the college will also suspended before 2days of the function . We have so many practical class we just can't get enough time to cover up the syllabus
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are a little High because semester form full charge is ok but the examination fee is a High and excursion fee is too much atleast college or the university should provide some help . Many of our batch mates can't manage that . In my batch only I agree to go others have financial issues and its pretty normal ?8000 for excursion seriously?? That's too much and we get many scholarship opportunity based on our financial status and academic records.
Campus Life
Tech fest in the month of January. Availability of book in the college library is not good , the stuffs didn't really pay attention to us . In my 1st semester they charge me the library fees but they didn't allow me to use library coz I don't have I card of college. It's not my faulty that I don't have Icard of rbc , they didn't provide us any .they provide the Icard in last week before 2nd semester theory exams . We have to take books from our particular department but not all students can get the book same time it's pretty hard to study by borrowing from department.
Admission
60% marks on average in board exam needed for applying any honours course . Application is Found in wbsu.com or west bengal state university official Site. The notifying process of availability of admission is needed to improve
