Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is relevant and updated according to New Education Policy. Syllabus is useful in real world applications as BSc is a scientific and practical course. Teaching learning methods can be improved.

Class Size: 46Course Fees: INR 5000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Approx fees for my course is 5000. It includes registration fees of 3000 and the remaining is development and lab fees. Scholarships are available for minorities like SC ST. Management quota is not available. SVMCM is a general scholarship for all students for a particular income category.

Campus Life

Annual fest is celebrated every year. And few cultural fests are organised by students and departments throughout the year. Technological provisions are lacking in classrooms as no smart boards and HVAC systems are provided.

Admission

I've applied to Kalyani Mahavidyalaya, Kanchrapara College and Ranaghat college. But due to low merit, didn't got accepted. Admission in my college is based on merit of schooling marks. No such entrance exam is conducted.

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is around 2:10. Faculties are available for limited duration for consulting. There are semester exams every 6 months. Passing ratio is good due to the new curriculum. It is relevant.

Night Life

Gym is there but not functional. Cafeteria food is affordable and good. Hostels and private PGs are available for accommodation of students. No such hangout facilities available inside the campus. Outside the campus, chatimtala mondir is available for heritage recreational activities. Museum is there for students for extra curricular activities.

Placement Experience:

After completing the 5th Semester the student are eligible for placement but the student should have 7.5 CGPA and a good attendence for the palcement after this oncampus placement like TCS, wipro, accenture etc come for placement with a native package of around 6-8 LPA. Which is goood . Nearly as per report around 80% of studentt gets placed every year . After i complete this course i have decide to go master degree in data science which will be benificial for me for international company.

Pros and cons

Placement Experience:

Placement or internship depends on the course Duration . Overall placement is good . The highest package is 1cr/ yr. And the average package 2to3 lakh/ yr. After getting the bsc. degree in Forensic science, I want to prepare for compitive exam or prepare for higher studies.

I' will not apply any other colleges other than this because this college is very nearest for me I will also not apply any other colleges because they are also very similar curriculum like this college. I secured 76%marks in 12th board examination so that I have not done any much hardwork for addmission in this college.
