The education quality is very good. It has technology based teaching process.
Its annual function is very enjoyable. Me and my friends enjoy those.
Its environment is very good. It has trees all over the university.

Dislikes

Its fees are pretty much high. The authority should reduce the prize.
The students have no personal website. It's a bad thing.
The university should improve the ground quality.

Course Curriculum Overview

I love to study English and English literature and that's why I have chosen this course. To get admission in particularly in English course you should get 80 or 85 percentage in college. You should not worry about the teaching process of this university because all the teachers are very gentle. In every 6 months the exams are conducted by the university and personally it is easy for me.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are normal than the other universities but if the authorities reduce the fees the financially effected students will get benifit. From my college time I am getting swami Vivekananda scholarship.

Campus Life

In the month of June the university conduct a special show regarding the date of the inauguration of this university. The library is very big so you can get anything that you want. There are many extra curricular activities on the campus and one can participate in those. I can't tell about any website that is being operated by students.

Hostel Facilities

The rooms have technology based education. It has computers, projectors and many things. The meal quality is very good. The registration process for hostel is pretty much hard. The university has its own hostel and its environment is very nice.

Hostel Fee: INR 2000 per year

Admission

To get admission in this college one should score atleast 70% marks in college. One can apply online to get admission and its admission fees is very low than the other colleges. It is roughly 8,000 rupees. Honestly the application dates of this university is not clear. If one belongs to SC, ST category, he will get admission in it in less than 80% marks. If the authority reduce the admission fees than it will be more beneficial for the poor students.

The Pros and Cons of Joining Jadavpur University Masters of Arts in Economics

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for applying for internships after the 3rd semester, and students can apply for placements only after 4th semester. Companies like Ericsson, Ernst and Young, JPMG makes visits our department for mostly analyst roles for economic and fundamental trading decisions. The highest offer made was 45LPA while the average is 7.5LPA. The median pakage is 8LPA. Almost 90% students secure placements after completing their degree since the Training and placement cell is pretty proactive in securing good company visits. I plan for investing and analyst roles in banking companies. I would sit for placements hoping for the same.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I had a keen interest in this subject. The faculty was very good, including the staff members and the academic teachers as well. The teachers were highly qualified and helped a lot in their studies. The exams were held timely under the supervision of the college staff members.

Overall good University

Placement Experience:

There were no campus placement. l have planned to be a teacher after completing this course. No company offers job in that campus. All the students have to struggle in their way for getting job.

Good College with Excellent teachers

Admission:

For pursuing Post graduation students never have to appear in any entrance examination. I passed my graduation from this college in the English department securing 65% of marks and hence choose this college for postgraduation as well.

Remarks:

The program of distance learning from University of Kalyani is the best Distance learning program at that I have ever come across. The distance program provides all of the facilities same as any regular program which makes it a wonderful option for all of the student who cannot afford to go to college regularly.

Remarks:

I am both positive and negative marks started with positive the factories where very good well well qualified there is no ragging the environment is eco friendly people very helpful there is no senior junior bond everyone is equal. The negative were enormous starting with the infrastructure in some places there are new buildings halls which are not even maintained and that's the biggest problem facilities are not given to student in the hostel so much carelessness is there in the routine work people are very lazy to do their working time authority is very slow to do their workrecreational activities other than academics are very less a student didn't get the time for recreational and facilities were also not there I come modern infrastructure universities should be so we have to change this things to do the university prosper in the later year in the first and foremost thing is determination a that everyone should give efforts to make our university Pride and worthful.

Remarks:

Positive remarks are that its study process is very good, teachers are friendly and helpful... Seniors behave well to the students... College extra caricular activities are also pretty good.. Negetive remark is that it is far from urban areas.

My thoughts on our beloved Sidho Kanho Birsha University.

The main reason behind choosing the Sidho Kanho Birsha University is to peruse my masters in chemistry from my home university which I am more habitual to. I persued my bachelor's from the same university and my home town is nearby from the university so these are the main reasons for choosing this university. Amoung several universities i applied for I got selection from Vidyasagar University and burdwan university. And because these colleges are away from my home town so I choose my home university over these . Yes I got rejection from the IIT Kharagpur. I didn't make it to there because my mark for the qualification for this university was not upto the mark. My university gives admission to students in behalf of their marks in the bachelor's degree. There is two quota , one is for home students and one is for outside university students. I got the seat in home students category. The cutoff was 82.5% for the admission to chemistry masters program in our university....Read More
