A brief review of our university.

Likes

Infrastructure of our university is very good.
Neat and clean campus gives fresh vibes.
Regular bus service available for the students.

Dislikes

A little bit away from main town which causes some problems
There are very few shops around our university
Transportation is one of our major problems.

My thoughts on our beloved Sidho Kanho Birsha University.

Likes

The most I liked about my university is the infrastructure and availability of facilities for our studies.
Second thing I like are our professors . They help us in every aspect of our educational or personal life .
Third thing I like the most is my batchmates who gives me encouragement for pursuing my studies.

Dislikes

The university is a bit far from the Purulia city . So the connectivity is a problem.
I think if we get some extra hours of the lab facilities, that will be great.
Water purifier are available in some of the floors I think the number should be increased.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement of our university is quite good and it is getting better day by day. Especially our chemistry department is doing great in this field. Last year our dept almost hit 100% placements and the highest package was of 5 lpa. I am planning to peruse my PhD after MSc.

Likes

First of all the environment of the college is so good to study, there were less academic pressures.
Teachers are much friendly and will guide and help you in whatever you want
No Such things like ragging and all seniors and juniors have a great bonds

Dislikes

Infrastructure can be upgraded. Buildings and Classrooms are not repaired bit old not.
College canteen is not up to the mark can be upgraded
And the main point this College has not sufficient teachers to teach us

I choose this course as I want to explore a new stream. If you know that this is the course I want to pursue ahead I suggest to search and go other colleges. As geology is practical based subject here it lacks and failed to do informative field works.

No irrelevant chaos due to external issues
reasonable fees structure and affordable

Dislikes

accomodation for an outsider student is problematic mostly for boys
connectivity with the town area is problematic at night
heat waves during summer time could be problematic

Likes

The facilities for library, Canteen, Faculty were amazing
Personality development, communication skills and extra classes were conducted for the betterment of the students
Many events were organised to interact with the campus and for social interaction

Dislikes

Doesn't provide proper notification for everything
Every semester were conducted in very short period
No regular classes were conducted , because of lack of faculty

Likes

College campus is very big. Classrooms are spacious. Environment is good for study.
Food of our canteen is very hygienic and tasty.
Teacher's are very helpful and supportive. They teaches us nicely and also provide notes for each classes.

Dislikes

Desk bench are not so comfortable to sit more than 2-3 hours.
Library has not much book and they give permission to issue only 2 books at a time.
Sport facility is not so well. Only NCC and NSS is present.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Many reputed companies like TCS, HONDA visits our college and offers around 1-2 LPA. Almost 70-80% of the students from different departments get the chance of campus placements.

Faculty was very Supportive and helpful. They also motivate for study
Different kind of seminar held for improvement of our study.
Environment is good for study. The spacious campus is the main attraction.

Dislikes

Classrooms are not well designed and too small
They don't offer any placement for every department

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 3rd semester for campus placements. Well reputed companies visits our University and they make approximately 10 offers and after interview they selected multiple candidates. Most of the companies offer approx 1-2 LPA. Almost 80% of students getting placement.

Likes

Good culture and behaviour of teachers towards students
Participating in co curricular activities and studies equally
Help in any manner like financially and mentally.

Dislikes

No playground inside the college campus to play
No canteen to eat properly and help those students who are away from home for studies
Not properly managed according to management

Placement Experience:

From third semester students are eligible to sit in campusing ,there came lots of companies like bajaj finserv , genpact, red apple etc. The highest average package is around 3-4 lakhs got by students . They prepare students in such a way that atleast 85% get placements in campusing. I will do masters after i got the degree in BCA.
