The main reason behind choosing the Sidho Kanho Birsha University is to peruse my masters in chemistry from my home university which I am more habitual to. I persued my bachelor's from the same university and my home town is nearby from the university so these are the main reasons for choosing this university. Amoung several universities i applied for I got selection from Vidyasagar University and burdwan university. And because these colleges are away from my home town so I choose my home university over these . Yes I got rejection from the IIT Kharagpur. I didn't make it to there because my mark for the qualification for this university was not upto the mark. My university gives admission to students in behalf of their marks in the bachelor's degree. There is two quota , one is for home students and one is for outside university students. I got the seat in home students category.
