I have a passion for this course. I like to know about medicines. Our faculty members are very good and caring. They are very much helpful. The qualification of the faculty members must be M.pharm. It is moderately difficult to pass the exam. You must have to do hard work to pass the exam.

Class Size: 420Course Fees: INR 97000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

We have to paid 3.96 lac for this course . We have to pay 97000 per year . I got swamivivekananda scholarship. The scholarship gave us 60000 per year . We can get the job in quality control quality assurance. We can get the job also in marketing.

Campus Life

Our college had conducted a national seminar on pharmacy field. The name of the seminar was A health care - A global transformation from traditional to modern era. There are a social group which's name is neophytes . There is present a Library . There are available various books.

Admission

You must be from science background. You have to qualify a entrance exam . The fees of the exam is 500 rupees . The exam is conducted by wbjee. There is no reservation benefits . There is no required any improvement.

Gitanjali college also gives adequate placements opportunities. Opportunities comes from many sectors. Appolo, Med plus etc. are common and easy opportunities. Beside them Mainly Production companies like Macloids, Sun Pharma etc also conducts interview for their production units every year. Interviews are arranged for 4th year students only. My plan is to continue my higher studies.

Remarks:

The college is a good college it is situated beside the district hospital and there is morgue beside it. So students will se many dead bodies been taken. This may be problem for weak heart students. But I thing for a pharmacists he/she should be able to see dead bodies.

Remarks:

Institute of Pharmacy, Jalpaiguri is the 1st Pharmacy college in Asia. This is the only one government college in West Bengal. Labs infrastructure is very poor. 100% Placement are done. Our college is very good Pharmacy college in India.
