Course Curriculum Overview

I like the course.. Professors are well known n have vast knowledge. 1:30 faculty student ratio. Faculty r all UGC-NET qualify. Exam is based upon university guidelines and it is conducted semester wise where each semester is completed within 6 months.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 16000 per year

From 5semester students can start preparing for the campus recruit. Hdfc,Axis,Icici bank have come during my course of stay. Minium 55% is mandatory for the recruit. 500000 is the highest package that came acorss

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for the course during 2016-19 was 18000 approx. And we have to pay extra 900 rs for Exam per semester. We can apply all type of scholarship both ugc and state scholarship like NSP. At the end of the semeter there comes company like hdfc, axis and some others mainly for the commerce stream.

All sports mainly basketball, volleyball and football is mainly popular. Ncc,Nss also is very much in active. Overall experience is very much in tiptop though hosteller have more advantage n experienc

Hostel Facilities

There is 4 types of room. Single room for the 3rd year. Double room, tripple room and dormitory is accessible to all the students though priority is given to the 3rd years than 2md years den 1st year Separate hostel for both girls n boys .

Hostel Fee: INR 19000 per year

Admission

Must get 60% above in 12 standard. There is no entrance exam for the course. Admission form can be downloaded from website or can get directly from college office. Overall experience for the admission is good. U ll get notice within the day itself or next day for the selection.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It was not my actual mind to opt my major which is history, since it was hard to find open colleges late I had to adjust to it. It might be better since I had a habit of remembering things that are upto no use in the present or maybe better for securing jobs as it is quite in needy in these aspects. It's still not very clear in my part but it partially taught us the basics It gives us 3 hours of time per paper and it's not very different or very hard because it has been always the same pattern along with the portions

Placement Experience:

The students in there end sems which means the 6th are eligible for the campus placements. I am not sure about the companies that visited exactly but i know that those were some companies with good status level. My plans after getting the degree is that i pursure music as my career as an artist.

The course is quite vast. But it only consisted of three subjects for my batch before NEP. We only have Western music, Hindustani classical music and regional music. But courses with NEP has a lot. And not just focuses on music but extras too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The way they prepare the question is the main reason for me to choose this college. They really provide not only bookish knowledge but also how to deal with the real world. The examination that they conduct are very reasonable because they give us the amount of time that a normal students need to be prepared for an examination. So I think it's quite reasonable and nice.

I choose this course because i wanted to study geography and to know about it and i had to choose this institution because in Tripura there was no good college which provide BA geography honours so i had to move to Meghalaya...it is fun to study during 5-6th semester where we have to do field study with different instruments the are so amazing and in 6th semester they take us to trekking but unfortunate we were not taken because of exams ....the Nehu exams are so hard

ST ANTHONY’s COLLEGE SHILLONG

I chose this college as its just 100 KM but the other one was too far. Plus was expensive too as I come from a middle class family. And the course in the other college had a rule that you can't just pursue music and you have to take 3 degrees all together. So if you take BA. MUSIC you have to take BA. PSYCHOLOGY and BA. I originally wanted to go to Delhi university I even got the seat but because of the delay of the Cuet result I had to keep my option open. I applied to maybe 4 college one is from my local place, the other one is b.booruah,st Anthony's and DU. But since my Cuet results were delayed I ended up in stb.Anthonys I got accepted in the other two college which I applied for but since st.Anthony's was my second option I came here. In st. Anthony's due to some network issue my acceptance mail was stuck so I had to come here in the college and talked with the principal after finally talking with the principal I received my email and my admission was done.
