Remarks

all in all the college is just okay though we can have a really good people in the campus and as far as placement is concerend please do not join the college for the only purpose of getting placed its too minimal.

its quite easy to get into bca and then do a mca course from chandigarh university you can get the college easily by getting good scores in your 12 th standard . i chose mca because i was like into computer software and typically believe in programming from 12th standard so I decided to do masters in computer application

Course Curriculum Overview

the curriculum is quite easy and not at all hectic but yes the assignments can be a hell of a task to do when teachers become nuts to get their assignments done on time.There are no research programs initiated within the institute.

Internships Opportunities

the college does not provides any internship its upto us if we can get to have some good intership which provide us the real scenario of indusrty and working condition including the labour and work force required to work with these big companies.

we have placements but not upto the mark we like compete with the b.tech guyz and they tend to be the real competition and even sometime companies wont even consider the mca students and we have seen a lot of drop down in placement from 2015 on wards so there is nothing much left with mca placement.

Fee Structure And Facilities

its almost affordable the fee would approx cost about 65000/- per sem including all taxes and tution fee.if you are from a middle class family you can even submit the fee in small amounts.

Faculty

we have good teachers with good experience but they are somewhat nuts when it comes to assignment and some teachers are way to crazy when it comes to presentation.they are quite interactive and actively help students to gain the skill set required in outside world.they even do live sessions like teaching with projector and other presentation to give a wide sense of knowledge.

A journey towards my dreams

Placement Experience:

A placement facility is provided by the college. There are special classes for students so that they get prepared for the placement drives and interviews. Eligibility criteria are different for different companies, the minimum is 60%. Various companies like Amazon, and Wipro visited our campus and the package is based on the companies. A honest review

When I was finalizing my decision, I compared my choosen college with the others on various parameters such as faculty, infrastructure, ratings, reviews, placements and extra curricular activities and co curricular activities and most importantly affordability that is fee structure. I haven't applied to any other colleges other than CU itself. The admission process of my college is eligibility that is you have to pass class 12th for my course bpt. If you opt for masters then you have to present a degree of bachelors for admission. The exam accepted for admission here in cu in cuchd, cuet,etc. if you clear any of these exams with good grades then you can get easy admission here in Chandigarh University. The cut off marks depends on the university itself. But try to score good to get admission here. The overall admission process for me was smooth from starting to the end.
