Remarks

No doubt, DBIT is the best place where I am right now. Each and every facilities and the standard as well as the method of learning is quite impressive and worth paying ?1.10 Lkhs for a year.

Entrance Preview

A common entrance test i.e MH-CET was the entrance exam for which i appeared for. I was not meeting the cut off marks required by the college but being a christian student i was been given a preference, as DBIT is a christian minority college. For me getting admission here was quite easy.

Course Curriculum Overview

DBIT is affiliated to Mumbai University hence there seems no difference in the subjects and course curriculum. The curriculum is quite difficult as engg field itself is very difficult to peruse. Regular studies can help one scoring good marks.

Internships Opportunities

Not sure, but i guess few internships are offered by the college for the better understanding and enhancement of students knowledge. Internship offer ratio is not that good as stated by the my sr. friends.

Placement Experience

DBIT is quite good for providing placements. There are number of companies visiting here every year and conducting their placement drives. The placement for the previous batch as put up on the notice board was 66% i.e neither good nor bad.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for the academic year 2017-18 which i had to pay was nearly about 1.10Lkhs for a year. The structure is tentative and keeps on differing every year.

Faculty

Well maintained College with best of its faculties. Faculties are very well qualified and the possesses best teaching standard. The teachers are well experienced too. Each and every faculties hold at least of MS degree in their respective subjects. Hence, need worry about the faculties here.

YCCE College : My Experience

Placement Experience:

The placements are good in the YCCE college as compared to other colleges in Nagpur. From seventh semester the students are eligible for the campus reqruitments. The companies that offer placements in YCCE are Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, wipro, Persistent etc. The highest package is around 24 LPA and the average package is around 5 LPA. Around 70-80% students get placed every year in the college. My plans after getting the degree is to get a secure job and spent time with family.

college placements upto corona pendemic is very good but after that its affects our and other college palcements also but its better about 70% of student get placed . as per their performance in academics and skills . college bring very good package offer companies in first 6 to 8 months mostly and inbetween massrecuriter comes . and last 3 to 4 monts most of mass recuriter comes .

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.

I got into DBIT post completion of my diploma so it was a DSE or Direct second year engineering entry students , I got EXTC engineering in the second CAP round . The college offers Engineering in 4 Branches namely Computer Engineering , IT , EXTC, and Mechanical and students can get admission through either by doing 12th or after diploma . For students who have did 12th the college accepts admission through MHTCET and JEE the cutoff are usually high above 90+ percentile for Computer and IT branch while slightly low 80%+ for EXTC and Mechanical branch. The college has a overall seats of 120 seats in computer engineering Dept 60 of which are reserved for Christian Students. MH-Cet percentile of 97 is required as even though it was lockdown when i took admission the cut-off was still that. Yes, in that cut-off, getting admission is tough but cometh the hour, cometh the man is what DBIT believe in. DBIT MUMBAI : where learning meets vibrant campus life .

i didnt applied to other colleges because my sister used to study in DBIT so i was sure the college will be good . while i also thought i was elegible for the college so i preferred DBIT for its approachable faculty and industry connections. the adimission process at DBIT involves eligibility based on 12th- grade marks and MHT-CET schores with atypical cutoff arounf 85-90 percentile for IT. the process is smooth, with a centralized counseling ensuring transpency. rejections elsewhere were due to higher cutoffs but DBIT has proven to be a great choice overall....Read More
