Course Curriculum Overview

I took admission in bachelor of pharmacy course the course duration is 4 years and I want to help people who are in trouble due to illness. The faculty student ratio is about 45 faculty members and 600 students. The teachers are minimum Masters in pharmacy completed they are good teacher mostly they teach on black board and some by PowerPoint presentation. There are 4 CA and 2 PCA help in one semester

Class Size: 600Course Fees: INR 47000 per year

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for the campus placement after 8th semester. MedPlus pharmacy Apollo Pharmacy are the companies which are come in the college but the job got only 50% student. The highest package of the company is 400000 and the lowest is 2 lakhs per annum. After completing the degree I will job as MR

Fees and Financial Aid

There are total 8 semester and total fee 3.92 lakhs. The students fill the scholarship form of Swami Vivekananda scholarship which is given by West Bengal government of rupees 60000 per year students got job 40%

Campus Life

Annual sports held in month of January every year and freshers party also organised in Same time. Then teacher day in the month of November. All book are provided by the college library related to the colour and many books are present in library like British pharmacopoeia, Indian pharmacopoeia ect the extra curriculum like more activity moksha activity activities compulsory for the students there are no any social groups in our college in students but there are different groups in faculty like exam sales etc

Admission

Addmission by entrance exam WBJEE in our college first go to the www.wbjee.in and fillup the form then submit by paying application fee 800rs and the cut of is 2000 only science background students can apply who have physics chemistry biology or physics chemistry mathematics in 10+2 examination

Placement are not so good but I can confirm you that if you are good in studies then you will have a min package of 50LPA .Every pharma companies in india or out india contains our alumnis as well as you will get a polite and respectful behaviour in every company after knowing you r passed out from Iopj .

This is the oldest Pharmacy college in India

Remarks:

The college is a good college it is situated beside the district hospital and there is morgue beside it. So students will se many dead bodies been taken. This may be problem for weak heart students. But I thing for a pharmacists he/she should be able to see dead bodies.

Remarks:

Institute of Pharmacy, Jalpaiguri is the 1st Pharmacy college in Asia. This is the only one government college in West Bengal. Labs infrastructure is very poor. 100% Placement are done. Our college is very good Pharmacy college in India.

By WBJEE or AIEEE exam you have got a rank for admission in this college.There are 3 concealing process by the wbjee rank card. Then you have to varify your document in reporting centre , after that you go to the college for the admission.
