Course structure and there is no attendance scenario in figure so you have enough time to do your own things.

Placements are very bad and it's not a co-ed college
It has separate colleges for the boys and girls

Course Curriculum Overview

I was always wanted to be in the computer science so I compromised with the college choice and preferred the branch. Not so specific reason. Faculties are good and qualified some are profs. And other are just mtech guys .. overall avg. Can be different for different person.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 126000 per year

Placement Experience

Students are eligible after the 6th sem . And there is not such good scenario for placements . As it lacks the cultural expectations here in the college..Big product based companies not prefer visiting for placements. Highest placement can go from 9-12 depending upon the student. Average placements is around 4 lpa only. And also most of the guy placed are from cse only and few from Ece.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is high if I compare to Gftis with their facilities ratio. Lower than private colleges. Their is No scholarship scheme from college end so you're getting it from government schemes then it is alright and their is no special quota system feel relation that every one has to pay same amount of fee.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is very very bad because there is other place and building for its engineering studies afar from University campus and it's too small and has not even very basic facilities. Library is average and not that good. Sport's activity you can see once twice year during admission seasons.

Admission

It was simple and through Csab counselling. Normal process as any other colleges through csab. Just fill your choices and when alloted pay the required fee to freeze the seat and then you'll get a mail regarding same . As soon as your admission process is intialized you'll get an email from the university end too .

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Geu provides best intenrships!

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.

Engineering in Gurukul Kangri Deemed to be University, Haridwar

It was the only college offering CSE during JOSAA councilling based on my JEE Mains score, so I decided to opt for it without thinking twice. I was offered a seat in special CSAB round. Seats are offered based on JEE Mains scores. Lateral entry for diploma holders is offered directly in 2nd year based on the examination conducted by the University. Firstly we need 12th pass with 75% marks then crack the jee mains examination and sit in the josaa counseling then go into the csab counseling after the counseling crl rank under the 1lakh .
