College with good values

So far so good, I have pleasant experience in this college till now, it's environment culture is so good , faculties are so supportive and discipline is the key here. only thing that you will hate here is the attendance criteria but overall it is nice.

I have given the exam of JEE in which I have scored average mark. I landed up here because my sister was in nagpur so she told me about it that this is good college so I have came here to look it and applied for it as it seems good to me. No, there was only a formal interview round in which they discuss which branch do you prefer and all. I always loved playing with machines hence I choose mechanical engineering.

I choose Mechanical Engineering and there is good curriculum and faculties here for my department. Yes there is huge focus on the practical learning usually we were in all the labs like of manufacturing and all. Yes there are various research initiatives taken by the institute in accordance with the merging with the university and all other good institutes R&D department.

yes the college provides the opportunity to get internship it organizes various exams and tests and whoever qualifies the test get the internship in good firms. they also have links with many companies who also takes students for internship in summer and winter breaks. I have done internship from a startup and I have good experience of it I have learned a lot from there. Average stipend is 4,000 per month.

The placement scenario is good almost every student gets chance to appear in the interview process of company if they fulfill the cut off criteria with no back logs and above 65%. generally 7--75% of students got placed . Major companies like Birla soft, TCS,IBM, tech mahindra,nestle and various such companies visit the campus. average package is 3.5 lakhs per annum.

Every year, The college gets its full gaiety mode in its yearly cultural fest "UDAAN" (Flight). Every year Udaan it is being organised by all the departments combinely. The fest includes different events like Fashion Show, Sports, LAN Gaming, Rangoli, Singing Competition, Mela, Antakshari, Dance etc. The average footfall is of 3000 persons. The organisations and the authorities contribute equally for all the events and supports for the funds and facilities.

The fee structure is quite high it sums up to 1 Lakh per year it includes dress and all the examination fees. But if you are willing to get other facilities like Hostel and mess you have to pay additionally for it. so it will sum upto 2- 2.2 lakhs per year with all the accommodation and facilities.

No the college itself doesn't provide any scholarship or loan. for scholarship you have to apply it from the government side as it offers the scholarship to backward castes and other economically backward students. Similarly you have to get the loan from private banks only the college don't provide loans but yes if approved from banks they agree to take the fee from loans.

The college organize various extra curricular activities in the college and also outside the college in the inter college level. They organizes Debate, Literary fests, Poetry competition, quizs, dance competition , and various sports fest too. Yeah I have got very good opportunity to explore my inner talent I have got prize for best debater(for the speech) which motivated me. There are good facilities for all these events and college enforces the student to participate to explore the inner skills.

yes , I am residing in the hostel. The hostel rooms are very well equipped and spacy too. Their are all kind of rooms that is whether you want single or shared and they are hence charged accordingly. There are Pg's nearby college you can take it also it will cost up to 6 thousand per month including food and if you will take single room in hostel it will cost 80 thousand per year including mess and laundry. The quality of food in mess is average and you can't expect something more than that you are surely going to miss your mom's cooked food.

I have very good and pleasant interaction with my alumni.Yes, the college provide a platform for student - alumni interaction as they have online portal for it in addition to it they organize Alumni meet in every 5 years. Yes alumni helps the college to great extent whether in placement or overall development they help to student as well as college too/

yes you will get tired from the labs and all that practicals because every day there are 2 periods assigned for practical learning and you will definitely get tired at one point of time. Exams are also very hectic there are various tests and mid semester exams are also there so it is not a chill culture at all. But you are here for it only so you must enjoy it.

The faculties are well qualified almost all of them are M.tech from reputed institutes some of them are also having P.hd and are well experienced too. As usual the young faculties are interactive with the students and interact with personally while the other ones are also industry oriented. The standard of teaching is quite good we get lot of things from that side and helps a lot.
