Course Curriculum Overview

ECE graduates are in hot demand across various industries, including: Telecommunications: Design cutting-edge communication systems and networks. Aerospace: Build sophisticated electronics for satellites, rockets, and spacecraft. Consumer Electronics: Develop the next generation of smartphones, smart TVs, and other gadgets. Sufficient faculties are there . The faculty vs student ratio is good but quality teachers are very less in number. Class test are taken with the time and given questions are very thought provoking.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 533200 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There are no extra benefits or scholarship supported by college. This year the fees increased by 50000 . We are worried about it. Our HOD is not good in behaviour. Varun cost is about 5.3 lakh for 4 years.

Campus Life

The library is fine there you can find your academy books some of the books are torn but measured books are new. There are two basketball playground and a cricket field. Classrooms are very old fashion. There are many social group clubs run by student.

Admission

Academic Qualification: Must have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biotechnology or a relevant subject.Entrance Exams: Acceptable scores in either of the following exams: WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination): Mandatory for most candidates except those admitted under specific quotas. Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the cirricullum is quite relevent and comprehensive . BTECH program especially CSE includes specializations like data sciene , cybersecurity, IOT, etc . Exams are held twice in a semester . the college could include hand on learning through workshop , industry project and interships .

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester student become eligible for the campus placements. Amul(GCMF) , Mother Dairy, Vidya Dairy, Bhagirathi cooperative, Wamul, ITC are the company's visited and they provide good packages according to the students work in interview. After getting the degree I would pursue my hair studies in Mtech Food Technology from IIT or go to MBA course from IIM. My main goal is to get NDRI National Dairy Research Institute which is top institute for imparting dairy and veterinary courses for MTech Dairy Technology. 70 to 80% of the students are being placed and the packages very from 20 lakh per anum to 40 lakh per annum. After getting BTech degree most of the students preferred to go for higher studies and job. Research line is open for our course. Most girls prefer higher studies and research line and most boys prefer for job.

HIT HALDIA - AT A GLANCE

Okay, I've applied for 2-3 colleges(IEM Kolkata, Heritage Institute of Technology kolkata, Techno India Main Saltlake) alongwith HIT Haldia. But I choose this college because of mainly two reasons- 1)This is near my hometown. 6-7 km away from my house 2)My some school seniors are also studied here so they said me to take admission here Yes I've got rejection from many colleges also because my WBJEE and JEE main ranks are not so good. But I was selected to take admission i some colleges also but I didn't make that because of expensive fee structure and poor placements. Admission process of my college is not that much complicated for Regular admission like through WBJEE and JEE Mains.
