Every teacher is very punctual which is very helpful to me.

Every teacher is not punctual which makes me disappointed some time.
Every class is not effective for me sometimes.

Course Curriculum Overview

I heard that the Mathematics department of our college is very good.The ratio of faculty and student is 1:10.Every professor is well educated and the quality of the lecture is very good. Being a 1St sem student I didn't appear in any exam till now.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 3560 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In the time of Admission it took 4560 Rs and it takes an amount of money in registration time which is unknown to me. I applied for the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship but didn't receive any money till now.

Campus Life

In the December month of 2023 the annual college fest Jagriti was conducted and it was very much fun to participate.Our college library contains many types of book.Every winter sport is conducted in our ground.

Admission

After passing HS board exam with minimum 60 percent marks I applied for this course through online . I am from the catagory unreserved. I want that the college conduct an entrance exam to get admission in this college.

Placement Experience:

College does provide internship opportunities both through the placement cell as well as department faculty. Semester 5 and Semester 7 students are eligible for placements. Average package is about 5.5 lakh per annum for microbiology course. Although placement percentage is on the lower side majority of students go for higher studies. Many prepare for exams like GATE, IIT JAM, etc.

Placement Experience:

college placements are good in this college with a number of good financial and consultancy firms coming in with new gen companies as well in the service and sales industry. moreoever getting a good placement in a top financial or consultancy placement requires a POR in a good society as a criteria, its not really required but adds to your chances of getting it. moreover you require to participate in a number of case study competitions for the same as well. my plans after graduation is probably working for a year or two after which i plan on doing my MBA. around 50-60% who apply get a placement.

My experience at St. Xavier's

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course theory helps us gain a solid understanding of the subject matter. Film studies and Mass Communication theory classes has laid down the foundation of the subject- from what is a shot and the kinds of shots and angles, to the beginning of radio in India and essays by CS Pierce and John Berger. The course also includes practical classes in the sound labs, editing labs and we will learn to use a camera, as one of the things we will have to do in this course is make films of our own.

St Xavier's College Kolkata- a place that builds leaders.

Placement Experience:

Our college has a very active placement cell that fetches jobs for everyone who needs and deserve it. The highest package was 24 lacs per annum last year and it is only expected to go up this round almost all students to set for placements are placed but in my department specifically most opt for higher studies like myself.

The college offers good placements for economis. Students in their final year are eligible for campus placements and there is a cell dedicated to placements. We have a placement cell helping students get placed. They keep posting opportunities like internships and fellowships throughout the year to groom students and give them exposure and experience. Placements can go to very high packages like those in Data Science, Big 4 consulting or core finance or banking jobs. CAs, CFAs and FRMs do well in the placements. My college is very beautiful. It has a very nice and student friendly environment. All the professors are very gentle, very kind, very humble. Also very friendly with students. And helpful.

First of all, we had to apply for the admission through online. We had to go to the College's official website and then apply. After that, the college authority published their merit list. They publish upto 3 merit lists. My name was published in the 3rd merit list. And then, after getting selected. We had to pay the Admission fees through UPI. Then, we got a notice regarding the document verification. We had to come to the college in person to verify our documents. Yes, I applied to MUC Women's College. This college is a really good, low-cost hotel good. The study is well and the library is awesome. There are Kanyashree and also OBC Kota and recently student credit cards are also available. There is no complex about any admission. You can easily admit it after paying your admission fees. The admission fees are low and as well as science commerce is also. In the Geography field, you have to go survey. This is really outstanding. Minimum number is required above 80-85% of all subjects. If you get 95% so you get easily. 1 day will counsel then you admit. Overall it's a good college for girls. No ragging No political issue. Good nature for Study. The best subject for studies here is English, as well as Math, Chemistry, Biology, Nutrition, Physics, Computer Science, Bengali, Sanskrit, Philosophy.
