Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I am a culinary enthusiast. I have been cooking since the age of 16. The faculty is experienced and one of the best I have heard from other IHM's. All the faculty has the industry experience as well the required knowledge.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

You are open to do any internships. One of the internship that needs to be done by Everyone and is one of the semester is the Industrial Exposure Training in which you have to work 4 months in all the 4 core depts. Of the hotel.

Placement Experience

A good exposure of campus can be expected in IHM Bangalore. You get brands coming up from different sectors like Food retails, QSRs, 5-star hotels and resorts, other brands. KFC, Mcdonalds, Oberoi's, Taj, ITC, Marriot, Hilton, IHG are some of the brands to name a few.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is one the most feasible point of IHM because of the central Govt. Authorities. Fee hikes are there but are manageable and don't through you out of the roof. You get scholarships for EWS categories. Overall, it's quite affordable

Campus Life

I will be honest. We don't have a proper campus. That is a campus is there where a group of colleges is there. The hostel is 12kms away from the college but is well connected by the Bangalore Metro I. E. From Attiguppe to Vidhana Soudha. So, it's hassle free.

Admission

You must have atleast 50% in 12th to apply for the Exam. The Exam can be tracked via NCHM's official website. It offers BSc (3 years), MSc (2 years) and diploma courses. The 3-year BSc includes an industrial exposure training as well.

MSRUAS has the best infrastructure!!

The university promises a lot and mind you, fullfill them all too.
The examination department of our university is arguably the best as we always have exams as scheduled.
Top placements are provided and the best part is most placements are done in Bangalore itself.

Dislikes

Well, an uniform at college level is like demanding and this should be eliminated.

Placement Experience:

After second year we are sent to hotels for internships and that is where we learn most of the stuff. From five star groups like Hyaat and Le Meridien we also have fast food chain restaurants like Devyani Group and McDonald's among others have and keep on hiring student from our university regularly.

Training Experience

Placement Experience:

Campus placement comes to the college in the middle of the fifth semester and students are eligible to apply for the companies visiting. There are several companies of Hospitality as well as retail-like Aditya Birla Fashion Group, Absolute barbecue, Starbucks, Marriott International, The Leela , The Oberoi and the companies offer as per their requirements. In my college, there was 100% placement pre-covid. The college is trying to bring as many companies as possible for placements even in this pandemic and students are still being paced with the reasonable package.

A best college to do complete your hotel management

Remarks:

In a positive way college has good infrastructure, hygiene all the time, so many events and seminar in one year. Its great. In a negative way they have to appoint permanent faculties who teaches one subject. There are some but. More faculties is required.

Training Experience

First, you have to sit for NCHMCT jee and clear the exam. You'll get the college as per rank. You can also fill college preference. Further details will be provided by the council. The minimum marks are 120. The age limit is 23. You will be allowed to fill your choice preference twice.
