Remarks

Good. Best experience. If anybody willing to give the maharashtra MH-CET I would highly recommend this college. But not such type of exposure is offered in any other such college . The overall performance rating of the college is outstanding. As it is one of the top three colleges in Maharashtra .

Entrance Preview

I have the MH-CET held by the Maharashtra government and it is conducted by DTE. I score 126 in the exam and the selection is totally merit based. I was 4th in my University. The Maharashtra government conducts a centralised Admission process for admitting the students in such type of colleges. It is actually a government aided Autonomous Institution. I was ware of the electrical course being offered by the college as a good one and I landed up taking ELECTRICAL.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It was actually a roller coaster ride for me. The college offers a very good stream of faculty . The are good in their areas. There was an extra edge to it in the way that is was not just book oriented but practical based . We used to have 2 practical each day . The Staff was supportive as well . The institute has undertaken various research initiatives the professors along with the students. The elective courses offered were renewable energy resources , high voltage Engineering etc.

Internships Opportunities

Yes the college provides with an internship. The experience of the intership was quite good . Because of the reputation of the college there are a lot of interenship apportunities available for the students.

Placement Experience

4

The placement scenario was quite good. Even though there was recession the college saw a very good pool of companies coming for the interviews.

College Events

4.5

Various technical events are held in the college like EESA MESA and CIA CUP of the branches i.e Mechanical, Electrical and Civil. The fests attracts a good pool of students from various colleges in Mumbai . Exciting competition are held and due to this the interest of the students is ever increasing.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college as it is government aided it does not charge a lot of fees. As fee waiver is given according to the government norms.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes as the college is an autonomous institute it gets it's funds from the Maharashtra government. The students are provided with various scholarships.yes I availed.

Campus Life

4.5

It's pretty good in terms of extra carricular as well.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Yes as I was not from Mumbai I was alloted hostel and let the tell you no other college in Maharashtra you provide you with such great facilities. There were single as well as sharing rooms . 24000 was the yearly fee for the hostel. The food of the mess was good as well.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni structure of the college is quite strong with professional working in various streams of industries . The alni contribute to the overall development of the college.

Exam Structure

The exam and the labs was not a tiring experience as we used to have a proper gap . But was a very good experience.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is qualified in their respective fields . Every faculty in the college is actually a Post graduate with specialization in their respective fields. The teaching process is very good and lucid. The faculty comes to at each and every student desk sitting in the class to ask if they have some doubts . They solve the problems of their subject along with the students. In short I would like to say the faculty is very interactive. The standard of teaching is at a par level i.e at an acme of teaching.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
