There is no hostels for second and third year student.
Some teachers behave rudely to students but most of the teachers are good.
There is no specific campus for all branch.

From childhood I want to pursue computer science and engineeering and in cse there is reputed type of job that's why I choose this course. In college there is, 50 students per teacher and teacher is well qualified from reputed colleges

Class Size: 85Course Fees: INR 101000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Coleege is little bit expensive compare to other colleges here per year fees is 110 thousands and there is no scholarship for students. And the last topic we talking about to campus selection, so there is average campus selection ratio.

Campus Life

College life is very good at this college and here annual fest is also conducted by third year students and the name of this college fest is jnanagani. there is also a better clubs related to study like hackathon and sports related activities.

Admission

Its easy to take admission in this university . there is two types of admission process one is through jee main based or ranking how much you got in jee main and second one is how much percentage you got in 12th . I gave jee entrance exam and got reputed rank in between fifty thousand to hundred thousand then took admission in this college. that time jee main cutoff was 90 prcentile for general category and this college take admission of that boys who scored 80 plus percentile and there is no relaxation for general category but I do not know about other caste related relaxation. College provides four types of course like computer science and engineering, electronics and communication engineering, electrical engineering and the last one is mechanical engineering.

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.

Engineering in Gurukul Kangri Deemed to be University, Haridwar

It was the only college offering CSE during JOSAA councilling based on my JEE Mains score, so I decided to opt for it without thinking twice. I was offered a seat in special CSAB round. Seats are offered based on JEE Mains scores. Lateral entry for diploma holders is offered directly in 2nd year based on the examination conducted by the University.
