Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was very good and tough, I choose this course because, I have interest in engineering and it is one of the best college for engineering in India and also because of its good placements. In one semester two exams are held mid-semester and end-semester examination and level of those examination are on the tougher side, and it has faculty to student ratio of around 1:20 and teaching method is same old method of giving lecture in green board etc.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities in college is very good , almost every engineering related companies visit campus and average stipend was 100000 rupees per month and highest was 450000 rupees per month but this year internship was less compared to last year due to recession.
Placement Experience
Placement of IIT(BHU) are very good this year average package was around 31LPA and Highest package was 1.68 Cr rupees, and almost all the companies related to engineering and finance field visit campus
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees Structure: 100000 rupees for tution fees which covers majority of the fees and some miscellaneous fees which makes total fees around 1,06,450 rupees and in first semester its about 1,21,965 rupees and college also have financial support that if your family income is less than 500000 per annum, you will only have to pay 1/3 of the tution fees and if your family income is less than 100000 rupees you don't have to pay any tution fees and Institute also provides many scholarship based on income and merit.
Campus Life
Life at the campus is awesome, every week there is something new happening, there are many clubs for students run by students for example:- COPS(which is coding club), Film and Media Council and many more. Its annual fest is conducted in last week of january and its name is "KashiYatra" and its Tech fest is held in march and its name is "TechNex". It has a big library and you can find almost every kind of book course related and unrelated. Its infrastructure is quite old and there is lot of scope for improvement.
Hostel Facilities
Well Hostel facilities for first year is bad, there are 3 students in one room which is made for two students, you cannot go outside after 10pm and batthrooms are also not very good and mess meal is average and yes hostel fees is very less still there is lot of scope for improvement
