Remarks

Increase the extra curricular activities. Teachers could be more approachable. No internship is provided,we have to do compulsory internship after 3rd year which we allot marks for us,so I hope they will provide us internship in a good company,Leaving this college was good and had good facilties.

Entrance Preview

CET and COMEDK I attended,CET exam was little bit tough than COMEDK exam. This field was chosen for me because it has more job opportunities in the future. Got into this college because it's close to home so filled this college in option entry of cet and got this college in cet, then I got admission at that no interview were taken.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course is good.Course is according to vtu,As per the Vtu we have study all the modules in cbcs scheme no option and what ever seniors studied in higher semester we are studying that subject in lower semester. No much Practical learning is possible. Institute has not taken any research initiatives as per my knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

College does not provide internship. No Experience,Doing internship is a better thing,u will get more experience and more practical based knowledge,So it is better to find internship by yourself and do it and get good experience, try to join internship is big companies through recommendation.

Placement Experience

3

Placement is pretty decent. Major companies were Infosys, Amazon, Alpha Nine Marine.Around 50% of students got placed in many companies, placements are important to get place in good companies, placements included presentations, the way you dress up,knowledge everything is important.

College Events

3.5

Technical fests are conducted more often. Fest is very small, includes only our college. Basically, it's an inter department fest. Fest could've been organised better

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is affordable.I had both Comedk and cet,I go through comedk I would have got good college but fees is more in comedk compare to cet,so joined through cet and paid the amount of around 49,000 rupees with college fees around 25,000 rupees,so it was affordable ,through comedk I donot but we have to pay more in it.

Campus Life

3.5

Not many opportunities for extra curricular activities. College does not promote much of that.

Hostel Facilities

4

No,i don't about hostels,rooms were on sharing,No PGs,food was better.

Alumni/Alumna

Not had the opportunity to meet an alumni

Faculty

3.5

A few faculty are experienced. Others could do better. Interaction would be better if the teachers seem more approachable. Faculties are little bit boring types, don’t entertain us more in activities or with studies, even syllabus is little bit difficult and it is very difficult to complete all the 5 modules

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college (NHCE) is affiliated to VTU but it's autonomous college. I like mechanical engineering and my father is also a mechanical engineer which inspired me to mechanical engineering. It is a bit outdated, expect more applications of the concepts. As I said we have exams every month, the frequency is good and the difficulty of exams I mid to easy range.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There course subjects included in each semester is pretty much related to the branch of the student, each course subject has an important role in making the student ready for jobs. Some of the core subjects are necessary for real world applications and in the interviews as well during palcements ,questions have been asked from various subjects. Sometimes the speed of covering the syllabus is fast which makes us mug up the topics which is not beneficial for us because this method doesn't hold any value when it comes to applying it in real life.
