Likes

Good facilities for extra curricular activities like sports and arts
Different kinds of clubs that are not just tech related but also from various other fields
Placement statistics are solid and very promising.

Dislikes

Hostel food and generally food options has to improve in the campus
Lots of unused space on campus which need to be put to good use
Administration side is not great..paying semester fees and completing registration is a tough job

I chose this course because of my poor rank in the entrance exam.Exams are conducted at proper intervals and to be honest it's really easy if your aim is just to pass the exams .Faculty student ratio has been said to bit on the lower side in this college but faculty recruitment is taking place nowadays.Most faculty are experts in their fields

I am a first year student and have not got any internship opportunities as of now .but civil engineering and Metallurgical engineering students have good opportunities in this area .College also helps us get internships

From third year students can sit for placement on campus. Many companies visit campus like Amazon Flipkart Microsoft accenture.the exact figures are listed on college website.This year highest package has been 64lakh per annum.Nearly 95% students get placed on campus.I hope to be placed after my course .

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is pretty high compared to government colleges.However that is the case in all IITs.People who can't afford these fees have financial assistance from government side.For M tech students ,decent stipend is given

Tech fest - wissenaire - january Socio Cult fest - alma fiesta - january E summit -february Library is very well equipped with all kinds of books . Classrooms are clean and smart classrooms with AC and charging ports. Sports and extra curricular activities are highly encouraged here . Student Gymkhana runs most student activities and there are different clubs

Hostel Facilities

Hostel meals are not great, can be improvee a lot . Single occupancy rooms are provided. Common bathrooms and toilets. Hostels are affordable for everyone.No external hostel facility is required for anybody.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

KIIT:place where students chase their dreams.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards companies visit campus and recruit students for internship. This internship season goes upto entire 7th semester. Many companies like amazon Deloitte cognizant and many other startups visited the campus.highest package was 42lpa and average package for computer science was 9 lpa. Around 70 percent student got placed.i want to get a good job in a good company.

Students after completing 6th semester are given chances to do internship and convert it to ppo A total of around 60 companies visited the campus last year. For core branches tata power ,jsw offers a lot of jobs in tech roles tcs capegemini and other service based companies hires. Also cisco hires via there hiring process. Student have also grabbed placement at amazon and ib like credit suisse and goldman sachs previously. Around 60% students are getting placed every year Last year a total of 650 offers are made. So its better to get a job via campus placement rather than trying off-campus

My College Life.

Placement Experience:

Students after 5th semester are allowed to get pre placement training. And then from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Companies visited to our college for recruitment are like TCS, Accenture,Zenus, Infosys etc Average package in my college is 8LPA and the highest package of this year is 25LPA. Almost 70 percent students get placement. My plan is to get a job as a Software Engineer in Google with a package of 30LPA.

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.
