Some Things about College of Technology and Pantnagar

This is one of the biggest university which is spread in 12000 acres and this is well known college. The faculty is not that good like you will get only 1 (good or supportive person) out of 10 and also it is your luck that will you get that one or not. The student ratio is kind of ok it depends upon the branch. Teaching method is not good like its a college what would you expect from professors after all you have to pass by your own and you have to do self study . Professors are well educated like they have done their PhD and some are the M.Tech students of the university but the teaching culture is not so good as I said before only few teachers are that good. Here the passing marks which you need is 50 out of 100 There are 3 exams in a semester like 2 hourly exams which are first hourly and second hourly exam and the 3rd one is semester finals Passing in exams are not that difficult but you have to study property the chance of getting back in your exam are high on the sub of other clg

You will get internship opportunities in every second sem from 1st year like in 1st year 2nd sem you will have a subject named practical training in which you have to go to companies and learn from there for one month then from 2nd sem you will have the internship opportunities

The eligibility of campus placement are decided by the companies some companies have the restriction of CGPA the minimum CGPA with you should have is 6.5 try to maintain your CGPA above 7 so that you will be eligible for placement many students gets package and some choses to do higher education

Fee is not that high compared to private college as the fee is 120k per annum which includes all like your hostel fee, course fee, mess bill, library fee, gym fee, etc and if you need scholarships there are many for which you can apply for. For stipend it is for Mtech students who are studying here and teach as well .

There are many annual and tech fest organized in pantnagar like there are many small events in every month but some of the main event of our college are Razzmatazz, Lithosphere and one of the biggest event is Colloseum. You will get your sem books and other books at University Library which you can issue from there for every sem which will not cost you any amount cause it is already deducted from fees . Classrooms are good. You will have a stadium for sports which also have gym you don't have to pay for stadium cause this is also covered in your fees. There are many societies and club in which you can participate one of the best society is ETS ( ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY SOCIETY ) and also Ecell (university level society)

Hostels are okay rooms are okay and the bathroom is not that good the meal is average and the quality of food is good as the menu is selected by the students. You don't have to register for hostel as hostel is covered in your fees the hostel fee is very low there is only a bill which is 20k or mess which is included in your whole semester fees there are no PG nearby.

To get admission in this college you have to give JEE mains exam and score good and getting the branches depends on your JEE AIR rank after the JEE mains result come you can apply for this college in UTU Counselling online in which you have to pay some amount like ?1k-1.5k something than if you got your prefered branch in the prefered college you have to give ?10k (from 2023 counselling) this amount is adjusted in you college fee the reservation benefits which you can get is in your admission rank.
