Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because of the high demand of computer engineers. The faculty is to student ratio is fairly decent it is about 80 : 1 all the faculties are mostly phd holders from iits and the exam are usually held at the optimum time in decmber and may are end term exams and in each semester there are two sessional tests the exams are moderate

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for college placement in the seventh semester. Last year several companies visited like godrej reliance bebo technology etc around 160 students out of 300 students got placed on campus the highest packege was around 8 lakh and average was 3lakh. My plans after the degree is do masters

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is fairly moderate it is about 1lakh 10 thousand for a year which makes it quite affordable and there are also options of scholarships available from the central government and state government from which you belong

Campus Life

The annual anf tech fest name jnagmi held in november end. The library of the college is well equipped with a lot of books which would be needed for the course structure and the classrooms are equipped with smartclass. There are various sports faciles provided in the campus like football cricket basketball tabletennis etc . There are not much sociesties in the college other than gdsc .

Hostel Facilities

The hostel provided us with a bed a table a chair and a almira to keep our stuff. The meal quality in the mess was below average the menu was a bit versatile but the food was pretty bad in my opinion. Registration for hostel is on the basis of first come first secure . And nearly everyone gets the hostel

Hostel Fee: INR 56400 per year

Admission

The entrance was through jee mains and then after csab counselling I was alloted this college. We had to fill the admission form available on the college websites and then come to the college in person for seat confirmation

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Geu provides best intenrships!

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

Placement Experience:

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.

Better for higher studies

There are some of the private college which i applied but i selected this one because this is govt and also there are many more opportunities providev here. You can get admission through jossa nad csab and cutoff is around 70k for jossa and 300k for csab. Also there is a form for this college you can check that out....Read More

Engineering in Gurukul Kangri Deemed to be University, Haridwar

It was the only college offering CSE during JOSAA councilling based on my JEE Mains score, so I decided to opt for it without thinking twice. I was offered a seat in special CSAB round. Seats are offered based on JEE Mains scores. Lateral entry for diploma holders is offered directly in 2nd year based on the examination conducted by the University.
