Likes

Extra curricular facility include well facilitated gym, home ground and big campus area
Good market connection and with good view around the campus
The distance between the holy and tourism places are very low which is quite good.

Dislikes

The instruments of labs are not well maintained.
No individual hostel for 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students rather they all are stayed in same hostel.
No girls students in btech course here, which is quite different from other college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I 'm the boy, who has a good interested in field of networking and app making. And due to only these interest, I'm mostly looking for CSE course in college. The faculty of this college is good, and about 1 faculty on per 20 student in this college. All teachers are well qualified( with mtech or PhD degree ) and the teaching method of all teachers are much well. There are mainly three exams per subject in a semester which makes a some credit in SGPA of that semester. The 1st and 2nd exam is of 20 marks and 10 marks for attendance and assignment and other id main end sem exam which is of 70 marks exam and all are held in well mannered.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 109850 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of this college for btech students is Rs 109850 per year and the hostel fees including your mess and bus charge is Rs 47000. Their is no own scholarship provided by the college but students can avvail their state providing scholarships and specially for sc and st students and good enough scholarship by their states

Campus Life

There is one tech fest that is JNANAGNI which is held in October of each year. There is a lots of books in library for all courses and having a good facility like updated research paper and all other journals too. There is a lots of sports are played here on a gap of 1.5 month throughout the year, but the students of this college are much active in sports and other activities too. The social group are active and the college also owned their own websites and many apps for making comfortable life of students of this college.

Admission

I have qualified jee main 2022exam with 89.4 percentile and cutoff for obc student is 67% and I got this exam information and form from jeemains.nta.nic.in which is conducted by nta. After qualified the exam, I participated in josaa counselling and get this college under obc reservation. The admission process is good, and hope for with same level in future.

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Geu provides best intenrships!

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

Placement Experience:

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.

Engineering in Gurukul Kangri Deemed to be University, Haridwar

It was the only college offering CSE during JOSAA councilling based on my JEE Mains score, so I decided to opt for it without thinking twice. I was offered a seat in special CSAB round. Seats are offered based on JEE Mains scores. Lateral entry for diploma holders is offered directly in 2nd year based on the examination conducted by the University. Firstly we need 12th pass with 75% marks then crack the jee mains examination and sit in the josaa counseling then go into the csab counseling after the counseling crl rank under the 1lakh .
