The college provides good placements in various companies like IBM, Wipro, TCS, BHEL, etc
The college has its own placement cell that manages everything and it is improving day by day as many new and big companies enter college every year.

Dislikes

The lower level of some companies are coming in my college, and college doesn't work on placement, which students need.

Teachers in our college are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Exams are conducted on time. The course curriculum makes students industry ready. Semester exams are averagely difficult. The pass percentage is 80%.

Fees and Financial Aid

Placements: First of all, I am a 3rd semester student. I got admitted to this college in 2022. In 2022, almost 80–85% of students got placed at an average CTC of INR 5 LPA. Our university doesn't disclose the highest or lowest package. In 2022, 100+ companies came to recruit the students, including Byju's, Infosys, Bebo Technologies, Wipro, TCS, TCS Ninja, etc. Our college provides a premium subscription to Internshala for internships and assistance. Most of the roles of software developers and engineers were offered to our college students.

Campus Life

Hostels are available.hostels are good enough because they provide all the necessary facilities, including a gym. In the first year, every student gets the hostel. The hostel is very affordable. College infrastructure is good enough; we came here to study, not for fancy infrastructure. There are no girls in this college. The canteen is average. Overall, it is good.

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Geu provides best intenrships!

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

Placement Experience:

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.

Engineering in Gurukul Kangri Deemed to be University, Haridwar

It was the only college offering CSE during JOSAA councilling based on my JEE Mains score, so I decided to opt for it without thinking twice. I was offered a seat in special CSAB round. Seats are offered based on JEE Mains scores. Lateral entry for diploma holders is offered directly in 2nd year based on the examination conducted by the University. Firstly we need 12th pass with 75% marks then crack the jee mains examination and sit in the josaa counseling then go into the csab counseling after the counseling crl rank under the 1lakh .
