Honest Review on MBGPG College

I gave semesterwise examination, now again semester exam has started and in between there is internal test. In Mbgpg college, the main practical held after the main exam ( within 1 to 2 months after completing the written exam). semester exams are bit hactic as the semester is of 6 months but coursewise it is bit tough because you have only 4 months to cover the entire semester course . But the overall percentage in semester examination is higher if you are good student as compared to the yearly examination. Main exam and all practical are held in the college.

The course fees in Mbgpg college are not much. Admission fees is 2000 to 2200 per year for B. Sc in mathematics, but examination fees is semesterwise you have to pay this online ( which is b/w 500 to 800 rs.) . There is also scholarship for reserved category students. But there not many job opportunity from campus Because not many companies have come.

The college campus and rooms is quite big and availability of chair and tables is also good. equipment availability in College Lab is large quantity but somewhat limited.College library distribute day wise books ( like B. Sc students on Friday). There is good book availability in the library but mathematics books are of slightly older version but other books are in good condition. Different competition ( like music, science project, debate, poet, dance etc) held in the campus and science exhibition, occasional & annual events are held in which singers and other famous guest of uttarakhand also come. Annual games (Cricket, football, volleyball, basketball etc) are also held in college.Holi party are also held in the college campus.

The application process is online, after that 3 to 4 merit list come depending on the available seats. The merit list is divided on the basis of percentage of 12th ( cut off percentage is different for general or cut off for reserved category is less than that of general students). Admission is done according to the merit list. You have to submit all the required documents to your college and then fees are submitted. When you have to submit your documents and fees, all this is known from the college. You get 10 to 15 days, sometimes you get 30 days and more to submit the fees and you have to submit all within this time period. Everything is good but I did not like the high cut-off percentage for the general and low cut-off percentage for the reserved category in the admission process ( In my time the last Merit list cut-off for general was 71% and just pay for the reserved category) this is unfair.
