Remarks

Overall this college is a waste of money with lots of silly rules which are specially made by this college and canteen's worst food.

Entrance Preview

I came through Kcet exam. Because of option entry i made and according to ranking u got u landed up here. No interview and all just pay the fee and get into the college. I was interested in mechanical engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview

It's very good. In mechanical engineering learning should be of practical more than theoretical based. And the college is good at providing practical learning to us.

Internships Opportunities

Before it was there as i have heard. But now slowly they are giving one by one May be in upcoming years they will provide us with the full internships.

Placement Experience

Not much placement but for Computer engineering and information science branch people get good placement.placement is worst for everything they will ask money. placement officer will give simply buildup.

College Events

We have cultural festival held every year. Abd a fest of college which will be too good to enjoy with technical and non technical events organized.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Kcet fee will be around 80000 and i have no idea about hostel fee And management it varies based on state percentage they got etc...(1l-2l)

No. College does nit provides any kind if scholarships to any if the students. But yes many students opt for education loans.

There will be some sports, dances ,singing programs.. Cultural fest and college fest.

Hostel Facilities

College has separate hostels for boys and girls with well-furnished beds with 24 hrs hot water supply. Hostel us good, but food us not so good.

No, yet i didn't meet any alumni. Or may be i don't know whether they visit our college or not.

Exam Structure

No, there will no exam in labs till the end and labs will be enjoying art in the whole course of in mechanical engineering. And theory exams are a definite part of stress.

Faculty

The faculties are worst in this college. Most of them are freshers . When they are started to improve in their career, they are moved for better options, I mean better colleges. But their interactions with us is quite good.

MIT Manipal boast a night life worth spending!

Placement Experience:

Around 47 students in our course and in 2025 36 of them were placed and rest I don't think even applied as jobs were definitely available. Infosys, Polaris and others who are now world famous for building cyber security systems were at MIT Manipal to hire students.

5 month into the cmrit how it unfoleds for the freshers

Placement Experience:

the placements oppurtunity are there and you can grab a very good paackage from here. The highest is around 44 , average is 7 lpa. Students become eligible for final placemnts from 6-7 semester. Companies like thermo fisches , fractal , belc , hitachi and many other, have visited. The percentage of placemnt is quite high but people grabbing more than 30lpa is very few. after degree i want to go for job directly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly I don't a thing about the relevance of the curriculum, this curriculum thingy has been changing every now and then in our college I hope atleast they stick to one curriculum and make us study that and don not change it further. As I've mentioned before, I was not informed in prior about the syllabus so obviously there's no specifi aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course. I think the curriculum will prepare me to face the world way more wisely and strategically than how I'd deal with it otherwise. I think one area they can improve is in physics, they can give us more seminars, projects and stuff to check our understanding. That would really help a lot of people to be creative and help people to get the exposure. Coming to the difficulty level of the paper, I know nothing because I haven't written the sem exam yet so, I know nothing. But, can guarantee one thing!! Be careful, cause as per sources our college is known for it's tough question paper, so y'all better study.
