Exploring the University

The course curriculum was good. I chose this course as I had interest in this field and also took commerce in 11th. The class strength was 40. The faculty or teachers were good and qualified and their teaching method was very good. The exam were taken in timely manner.

The admission process of the college was divided in two parts i.e. on Grant basis and Non-Grant basis. The fees charged from students from Non-Grant was high as compared to Grant basis. My admission was also in Non-Grant. The college used to give admission to students in Grant basis of they completed 12th class from their college and I completed my 12th from Kendriya Vidyalaya. I think this policy is not good. I completed B.Com from the college so there was no question of campus placement. The college provided scholarship for the reserved category students but only if admission is taken on Grant basis.

The life at the college was good. There were annual fests and different types of competitions conducted at the college. There were not much amenities in the classroom but overall atmosphere was good for study

The admission process was smooth and the admission was on the basis of merit list i.e. percentage obtained in class 12th. Three merit lists were out and I got admission in 1st list. There was no entrance exam. But the thing I like to mention that there is a scope of improvement in management. My college was G.S. College of Commerce. It is recognised good college for commerce education. It also provides MBA education and provide placements also. Overall it is a good college.
