Course Curriculum Overview
I choosed B.com(hons.) As i was a common student.. Faculty of Commerce in BHU is dedicated to commerce students.. There were almost 5 sections 70 students each.. Every subject was taught by different faculty in different sections... Professor are very helpful and understanding. Every profesor there are PhD in their respective subjects.. thus they are highly qualified. The exam are heald on semester basis i.e once in every 6 month.. the course was of 3 years therefore total 6 semester are taken.. and 36 subject are to be considered throughout the course 6 subject per semester.. it is little tough to pass the exam though one with good concepts can secure good marks
Internships Opportunities
In bcom marketing and finance related internships are offered to students this type in is almost more than 8000 to 12000. The students can also out for internships outside the university as well University provides full supports to the students who are earning while learning.
Placement Experience
Main college do provides placement to all students but still there is very less placement in the BCom because students don't ought for placement right after b.com but though for MBA and m.com, there is 100% placement in MBA and students who are opting for the placement in m.com are also welcome for it to placement is almost up to 400000 per annum for MBA students and up to 2 to 3 lakh in m.com as well
Fees and Financial Aid
It is very economical to study in bhu as my course fees yearly was less then 2000/annum. One can also avail up scholarship and national scholarship... I got Up scholarship twice One belonging to SC/ST can also get full fees rembursment
Campus Life
Bhu campus is very big having a canteen and many grounds... It provides one of the largest number of hostels in India.. It has different faculty buildings for different related courses National and international level sports competition is also done.. one can enroll them in any extra curricular activities like swimming course, yoga, . Kashi yatra is held every year which is a week long celebration for the students.. performance of different artists such as singers,dancer, comedian are held there yearly. Central library is the main attraction point for the students, BHU's Central libraries also shown in the movie super thirty. Do each and every faculty has its own library but there was libraries have only books related with the course taught in that particular facilities central library has all the books related to each and everything in the world. Beside central library there is also cyber library which is also very huge.
Admission
Back in 2020 there was a BHU enterance exam which was relatively hard to crack ... Cut off is generally low as the exam is hard.. after we satisfy the cutoff we were sent a call letter for counseling.. later selection was done.. it was quite simple... One could apply on the official bhu portal i.e. bhu.online Application fees was around 500 Application was started around 18 February.. The admition now is done through CUET(Common University Enterance Test) It is very convenient to apply now
