Good. But no fests and extra-curricular activities makes it negative on a part but otherwise it is good for making a good career.

I wrote Punjab pmt. No interview process. Purely entrance based admission. Desire for becoming a doctor made me choose this course

Course is really good with lots of practical learning which is really beneficial for us as of now and in future as well.

Internships Opportunities

Yes there is an internship. Last year of the course is for internship. We haven't attended any kind of internship till now.

Placement Experience

No placements. Only house jobs available for toppers. We usually prefer to do MD after this. After that the scope widens

College Events

No, there are hardly any fests in our college. We did have freshers when we were new comers i.e in first year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is Affordable. Approximately 1 lakh per annum. Course is of 5.5 years so it becomes Approximately 6 lac for the entire course.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are provided by the college since it is a government college. Scholarships are provided to the students with quota like scheduled caste quota etc.

Campus Life

No, there aren't any extracurricular activities in our college. There isn't much to exolore right as now as we have our undivided attention to our course right now.

Hostel Facilities

Sharing rooms with four people in each room with separate cupboards and tables for each. Fee for the hostel is 30000 per year. The food quality is average.

Alumni/Alumna

There are hardly any interactions with alumni of our college. The college does not indulge in any alumni lectures

Exam Structure

Exams are not very tiring and so aren't the labs. So it is a pretty chill culture. The labs occur frequently according to the syllabus.

Well qualified and experienced faculty present. They are quite interactive and enjoy teaching. Teachers are really understanding and motivate us to do better.

the curriculum “is well-planned … as per NMC (National Medical Commission) guidelines.” Practical classes are included daily alongside theory. “practicals are also included each day along with theory classes.” The AETCOM (Attitude, Ethics, Communication) component is explicitly mentioned, which is good because it shows attention to non-technical competencies. there are 4 levels of exams in a year — mid-terms, “send-ups,” etc. Some students feel the curriculum is stressful.

Cmc - a feeling in itself

The curriculum followed in our college is CBME based curriculum. Our college was one such college which conrributed tremendously in developing this type of curriculum. The MBBS course is a very vast course . Syllabus is too much to handle . The curriculum prepares us for the practical approach like Anatomy , we have Dhall for cadaver dissection and osteology . We can see real life radiography.

Life at GMC Patiala

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this as it is one of the well-known colleges for mbbs in Punjab. 10:225, Faculty, are postgraduates. With an experience of more than 5years mostly. At the end of the year, there were exams that are a bit difficult to pass.

I choose this college bcoz it is closest to my home And the thing is this is a government college infrastructure and faculties are good i applied also GMC patiala and GGS faridkot I didn't get rejection. I make it as a priority wise and I got alloted in 1st round . All the procedures are in counselling procedure by BFUHS I crack the exam NEET and BFUHS conduct a counselling process We make a list on priority wise according to merit colleges are alloted Eligibility as such by age like shouldn't be under 17 and should clear 11th and 12th exams Cutoff are high but for category students I can't say as such...Read More
