Course Curriculum Overview
Our batch is 2019, NMC has changed the curriculum to more clinically oriented one. It's very hectic and we don't have senior guidance. But we have become used to it. The teachers are also still confused.
Fees and Financial Aid
80000 per annum Examination fee 3500 before every exam. For category it can be that some scholarships can be there.Our batch (2019) had a group of 250 students. We medicos don't get placements via companies instead we have to build our CV in order to work in hospitals after compulsory and rotatory internship in various departments at the same hospital. All those students who pas the final year get into internship. The stipend we get paid in internship in all govt. colleges of punjab is mere 15,000 though.
Campus Life
Annualy Dusshera Diwali Teej Holi And other festivals are celebrated Dj parties are there As well various sports event every year are organised. As well fests are organised it can be intervollege also various singers are invited
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is not that good Per annum 40000 charged But according to infrastructure hostel is average as well acoording to hygiene also . Meal quality is good in mess mess are hygienic as well as affordable .
Admission
In punjab there are 3 government medical colleges in total Acoording to location amritsar is best because there is a lot to explore so its better to choose this college for campus life and infrastructure also
Faculty
250:30 Faculity and teacher relation is normalize not that much. Some faculity members are very talented as well worth ut while some are average with all the things. Annual examination for all the profs and they are hard .
