BBA in GC College???

A former science student who had lost his confidence, BBA was a sensible choice for a soft reboot to my academic path with MBA as ultimate goal. We have 6 faculty in the Dept of Business Administration in GC College, and around 50 students avg in each year. Most professors are well qualified and have completed their MBA and the others are also highly qualified in their field. The faculty have good teaching skills and are very friendly and accessible but the issue is the punctuality and irregular classes. The term exams are held by Assam University so it's upon them to when they want to hit the students with the datesheets and the questions in the exams are set with a moderate difficulty and it can be passed with basic studying.

Students are eligible for campus placements after being promoted to the 5th semester. I don't have much knowledge about the name and number of companies but TCS was one company that made offers in the latest campus placements. As per my knowledge the avg package is around 2 to 2.3 lpa No knowledge about the percentage of students getting placements. My plans after the completion of my degree is to appear the CAT examination and continue my academics pursuing MBA.

BBA in GC College is cheap in comparison to other colleges and universities, it's usually around 28k rs every year so 85k for the whole course. Scholarships and Financial Assistance are available, as it's govt college all the govt scholarships are applicable but no Internships will be provided by the college.

The annual fest is usually a 3-5 day fest that happens in the first quarter of a year, it consists of book fairs, sports, cultural programmes and concert nights. I'm not a Library guy so idk much about the availability of books but you can find the PYQs and referred books. A smart board is provided for the presentations and stuff with the usual benches and desks. The college is equipped with a big ground which can be accessed to play any sports.

If anyone wants to pursue BBA in GC College: Eligibility Criteria is 10+2 with 50% marks from any stream, the application and admission process takes place through the college website and the application and admission dates are announced through the website (usually in the month of July or August every year). There is no reservation benefits available in the BBA department admissions as per my knowledge all the students get admission based on their merit. The admission process is fairly easy and simple task, just sometimes the college website is overloaded and server crashes making it frustrating. The website needs a major revamp for smoother and interruption free operation.
