College doesn't have a own campus and the college life is a waste
For these things the college charges 13lakh fees which is literally heart breaking
No tech fest and events are done all our money is wasted

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good and doesn't suppresses students it's not that lengthy and the faculties are really supportive they are always there to support...but the sex ratio is worst as its 1:25. The exam was timely and it was moderate level exam.

Placement Experience

In 4th year students can sit in campus placement. The no of company visiting the campus is very less and very lower package offers are made.... highest package was 80 lpa which was offcampus and average was 17lpa which is completely false. 93% students get placed..ans i want to be placed after the degree

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees extremely high and doesn't cope up with the facility and environment provided by the college as there is no campus of the college it is conducted in a government building....for which the fees they charge is 13 lakh and there is no placement support from the college side... neither the placement reality cope up with the affordability

Campus Life

The campus life is the worst thing here...as their is no campus of the college...no tech fest annual fest nothing, a small library with course books ...no amenities in classroom, no ground so no sports,

Hostel Facilities

In the hostel room it's like a 3 bhk flat where 2 students are in each flat and 2 are in the hall. A wifi is provided and guiser is provided in all the three bathrooms.mess food and quality is okay...

Hostel Fee: INR 18000 per year

Admission

The admission process was smooth and i got admission through jee mains from obc NCL rank...there is no change required for the admission process as it was smooth and quick but I'll suggest that college should provide proper induction program.

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

Great college if the money is not a problem for you!!

Placement Experience:

Placements are good for core branches here at Bit mesra, as compared to other colleges, about 90% students got placed as per I know from seniors, the highest core package is around 20 LPA, main top recruiting companies for core chemical are reliance, jindal and many more!

Placement Experience:

Placements start 6th semester. Companies TCS, Wipro, Deloitte and local companies. Average package is 4 to 5 LPA. I plan to work as a full stack web developer or i will also apply off campus for better softer roles.

From 5th sem students are eligible for placement. Name of the company I forgot but nvidia amazon comes each year and take some students Paypal offered 4 students 28 lpa and Swiggy gave 2 students 35 lpa Nvidia gave 2 students 25 lpa Highest package data is not out as of now Avg is good this year I guess it's was 12-13 lpa Percentage is I guess reality 60/150

Raw and real side of NIT JSR

Placement Experience:

One of the major advantage of my college is it's placement percentage and average package. For my branch placement percentage is our 80% and average package of my branch is 16.5 lpa this year. Highest package last year was of 1.44 crore from a company rubirik. I plan to work in a semiconductor manufacturing company like Texas instruments and qualcomm.

Life in NSU

Placement Experience:

Students can get placement from there 5th semester and if they perform well in the company they get internship they will get placement in there only. Many companies visits but some famous companies are Reliance, Byju's, Ujjivan,Justdial, Tcs and mamy more. Planetspark is the company which gave highest package of 8lac rs to a student. Student without backlog gets placement easily. I am planning to do a job and save some mony and do my pg so that i could get better opportunities in jobs.

Choose Future, not Present

I had several other options like NIT Hamirpur, NIT Durgapur, BITS Pilani etc... Now in all the tier 2 nits i would have got either metallurgy or civil at the best but in BITS Pilani i could've got ENI but the fees there was 33 lkh for all the 4 years so it was not affordable for me. This was the best option keeping in mind my rank, roi and fees. You can get here by applying for jossa or csab after you have given jee mainsa and you will get a seat if you get good rank....Read More
