Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to become an architect to give shape to my imagination and to rebuild and restore the heritage of my ancestors the great temples and the Fortes of India and the marvelous work of art. Faculty student ratio is 1:6.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Hafiz contracter and narsi are some of the companies in which the internship is offered by college at an average stipend of ten thousand to fifteen thousand rupees per month

Placement Experience

College conducts campus drive in the month of June and July. hundred percent placement are done . Companies like hafiz contracter ,narsi come to take the interview of students and give them jobs .100% placements are done from college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are 1.5 lac for the first year students and there is relaxation in fees for economically backward classes , there is mahadbt scholarship and vivekanand educational society's private scholarship available by VES

Campus Life

The shunya fest is organized during the month of August during the orientation of the new batch of frist year students. Many books on architectural topics are available in the library of the college for the use of students.

Admission

The administration office was quite short staffed when it came to to guiding the new students during their admission process it would have been better if there was a proper system for the admission process

Perfect infrastructure but more experience faculty needed

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason i choose architecture because it fascinates me how a place can be developed into holistic place interests me . The curriculum has some good inputs but it doesn't make you industry ready extra efforts should be taken to learn advance softwares extra classes newer research etc discussion on advance technology becomes important in modern age how architecture is changing is not discussed

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of exam is twice a semester and good enough. Guest lectures are good and helpful for the future preparation.There must be a change in teaching styles of the faculty and more site based experiments through the course for better understanding than only in class studies , the beauty of historical buldings made me wonder about this course

Placement Experience:

For architecure departments, usually there are no placements, but since this Institute is autonomous, they have startes conducting placements drive. Last year 10/12 students were placed in good firms all over banglore, pune, kolhapur. I plan on applying to different firms all over Maharashtra and would also hope to get placement via college since the packages that are offered are good. Placement percentage is anywhere between 12-15%. The highest package offered was around 5,40,000, average package for a architecture student would be-around 3lakhs.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement for architecture students. After completion of the degree, one can apply for jobs or opt for masters. Architects get an average starting salary of 20-25 thousand. The course is pretty expensive including college fees and printing prices. One can also open a private firm and earn enough money. There are very few open students getting placed. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for masters. For a teaching job, one must complete masters.
