Excellent architecture and design of campus.
Good teachings and proper lab infrastructure.
100% placement and good average package.

Dislikes

Unnecessary strict and little bit traditional.
Some teachers just read the ppts so can't study properly.
Red tag disciplinary committee. Causes unnecessary disturbance.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I was interested in coding and was enthralled by the world of computer. The faculty student ratio is 1:70. The quality of faculty varies in every college so does in VIT. The faculty overall is good and the teaching methods are a mixture of traditional and modern. The exams are conducted timely and is neither too tough nor too easy.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 325000 per year

Internships Opportunities

TCS, and many other companies offer internships with stipend. Many other companies under VITBI also offers internships and also give stipend for the same. The students are also allowed to go for off campus interships.

Placement Experience

After the 5th semester the students are eligible for campus placement. Total more than 900 companies visit VIT during the placement season. Companies like FAANG, TCS, Wells Fargo, and many more visit the campus. The placement percentage is 100.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee depends on the category allotted at the time of councelling. The hostel fee gets hiked by 10% anually. There are some sort of financial assistance and scholarship provided. Many interships are also offered.

Campus Life

The campus life at VIT is overall good. There are many clubs and chapters in which students can get themselves enrolled. The sports facilities are also available be it tennis, basketball, football, badminton and many more. VIT has a multistorey library which is a home for over 3000 books including novels and fiction.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels at VIT are much better than offered at other private or government colleges. The hostels are both AC and N/AC. The mess food is also good. And is affordable. The registration process is online and offline. The student can get a hostel once the fee is paid online.

Hostel Fee: INR 175000 per year

Admission

You have to give an entrance exam conducted by VIT itself. The name of the exam is VITEEE. The application form is filled online on the website of VIT. The application fee is around 1600 including convienience fee

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester
