Reality of IITs

See, like I didn't chose this curriculum because I liked it but because of the rank I got in JEE ADVANCED, whatever was better for I went for that! After coming to college, I understood that this is quite good course and also faculties are quite helpful. Ahh the student ratio, it is around 3-4:1, speaking more about faculties, they have mostly studied from abroad and their teaching method is quite different from what you have been going through in your school and coaching centre, and the most important part exams, these were the nights where we engineers don't sleep much cause of the pressure of the examination, like we don't study on a regular basis so we have to study for whole night before exams and you can actually pass exam easily if you regularly attend the lectures and study for atleast 2 days beforehand examination.

Fees structure is divided in various ways like you have to pay for mess, tution fees, hostel fees and all of that. Also for those whose income is less there is provision where their tution fees are reduced accordingly.

IITs campus life is quite good, fest conducted here are on huge scale, you can also be a part of the organising committee, our Annual cultural fest is ALCHERINGA!! Beauty, those 3 days and 4 nights are the moments you'll cherish for your whole life. Various artists will come and will share their experience with you also they will perform in front of you and you'll enjoy a lot. This is generally conducted in February. Now talking about tech fest, it's name is TECHNICHE, this is conducted around September. Speaking of availability of books and journals, quite a lot books are there in library! Extra curricular activities are one of important things you'll do here, like you may have some kind of interest during your preparation of JEE but had to sacrifice it, here you can do it all. Various clubs are there for you to join, make some connections which will help you in your further life at college

Earlier there was a rule that all of us had to pass our 12th board examination with 75% atleast, but yeah during my admission this rule was removed. So, during my admission we just had to pay the fees online on a portal and put some of the information regarding your marks, income and all on a portal and you are almost done, then you'll have to physically visit the college and do the registration work which mere is a sign and your info. And boom, your life at college begins!!
