first process of admission of the admission is perpare of jee main exam which held every year two times in month of january and february . the syllabus of this exam is complete physics ,chemistry ,andmaths as per released by nta because nta (national test agency ) a organisation that conduct this exam. the elgibility is not so complicated the student pass class 12 .also to apply for this exam we have to fill a apllication form at jeemain.nta.nic.in also application is varied according tp the category for obc/general -1000\- ,sc/st-500 ,ootside india -between 5000 and 10000. the cut off this entrace exam is according that how many sutdents give the exam in paricular that shift oitof toal student in that shift also nta normalise percentile according to toughness of paper of particular shift. there is good reservation for sc /st and obc as they have to score less marks in the jee exam which is of total 300 mrks (100 -physice, 100- chemistry ,100 -maths ) but not general.

Delhi Technological University - [DTU], Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. To sum up, NIT Delhi is a very solid foundation for the students whether they want to have a career or continue with their education.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is relevant and comprehensive, with practical modules and industry-focused content that influenced my choice. It effectively bridges academic knowledge with real-world applications. However, adding more case studies and interdisciplinary approaches could enhance learning. Exams are well-timed but could better assess critical thinking. Teaching methods would benefit from integrating more interactive and hands-on sessions.
