I have cleared my IMU CET exam but unfortunately, I got fewer marks so I chose this college. Here no competitive exam is required.

The course structure is good and it gives all the required information about the nautical science subjects and the marine field it gives all the basic knowledge required for the cadet. I am doing DNS for deck cadet I choose deck department. after this course, I have to take 18 months sea experience on the foreign-going more than 500 GT ship to apply for the 2nd mate exam.

There is no internship in this course. We have to join ship after completing this course so if you have any approach so you can join on your own otherwise you have to give 3 to 4 lakhs rs in the college to get the ship.

Here many events are celebrated like republic day parade. On Republic day parade we participated in the state level parade with the defense and other forces then passing out parade of GP was celebrated then maritime day was celebrated then after that IMA fest was there that was also celebrated nicely.

We can say fee structure is normal because in compare of other colleges here course fee is slightly less because in other colleges this course fee is more than 5 lakhs but with this amount they are also providing company sponsorship. Here no company sponsorship is providing so they are charging more than 365000 rs.

Campus life is good here we learn new things many new events are celebrated. Here almost from whole India students are coming and studying even from foreign also like South Africa and algeria. Here is very diverse with the students but we are living together.

We can say Hostle facilities are fine because here one big room is provided in which 4 caders have to live and combine bathroom are provided with capacity of 50 person on each floor but meal quality is not good we can say it is bad they should their meal raw food material is not good and the food is not tasty we all have to compromise.

Yes, seniors students are helpful they help in all the matters suppose if two junior parties are fighting or any disturbance si they help to solve and in the study also they provide notes and etc.

Here exam structure is good every month there will be an exam. Every month internal examinations are conduct then after two internal examinations one modal examination is conducted then after practical examinations semister examinations are conducted.

I got this college on merit basis. My uncle did his course from this college 10 years ago so he suggested me to take admission in this college and finally i am here in this college. On 6 may 2017 i came and give 10 thousand ruppees for the registration of my seat and then i fulfiled all the formaltities then after 3 months i got a letter that i have to report on 28 august 2017 i came on 28 august and from 1 September i joined academy.

Here faculties are very good and they tried their level best to teach us and make us understand the topics even they teach us in many languages like Hindi english and Tamil. We also do our practical training of seamanship and workshop.
