An crucial point of my career

Personally, I enjoyed the time I was at IBMR. The teaching imparted by the faculty was top-notch and campus life was electric. Everyone is nice around here and the campus is ragging-free, etc. If I have to give any suggestions to the college, I would suggest investing in infrastructure.

Course curriculum was pretty updated and carefully crafted in order to match pace with a rapidly changing landscape of the corporate sector. For the first two semesters, we received a 360-degree view of the corporation, including marketing to finances, from legal to market research. Later we studied Marketing and HR as a specialization. During the final semester, we went for a mandatory on-site project.

Placement cell provided an ideal platform to meet recruiters from different sectors. Many students from our batch were able to secure a decent package during the on-campus placement. Average packages at IBMR ranges from 3-6 LPA. The mock training sessions were indeed helpful in boosting my confidence. Still, only top few students from our batch got placed.

Numerous events like the annual day, sports day, freshers, farewell, etc. are celebrated in our college. Students from different departments and different cultural backgrounds take part in different activities like cultural dance, singing, speech, etc. Our college turns culturally beautiful during these events.

I paid 80k on an annual basis as my MBA fee. It is one of the most feasible and exclusive programs in the region and I was pretty satisfied with the fee. I mean, a full-time MBA program only for 80k which was far less than the fee charged by many private colleges.

Admissions to the college are done on a merit basis. Students have to purchase the application form, from the admin department and apply with academic details and entrance scores. I applied with my TANCET score and was invited for general counseling organized by Anna University.

Faculty was very supportive and above all, they were well qualified. They were very thorough in explaining a particular topic. Assignments and classroom presentations was an effective way of teaching. In fact, our entire day schedule was pretty packed with assignments and presentations.
