My Life in College

Placement is not good.like it happens and take very less amount of students but overall college is best place to study. Nice faculties and facilities,new clubs and alot fun to hangout also.

COMEDK I Scored 69/180 means I got 23585 rank. In this rank I didn't got any banglore colleges so I decided to try my luck and opt for vidyavardhaka College of engineering

Course is very nice. Facilities are very helpful and I was lucky that I opted this computer science and I am lucky to join.The course provides us new subjects to study and gain knowledge so that anyone will like it and I liked the course very nicely. That's why I liked the course because it makes us to learn new things in the current world and want us to gain knowledge in the computer field.

NO,our college does not provide internship. For our juniors it is a subject for them. But for us their was no internship and we could not learn anything. And their is not enough days to do for internship as college doesn't provide holidays or allow for internship. They won't give attendance for it.

The main event happen in college is Vidyuth. It happens every year in the even semester . It's like a festival in our college . 3 days of enjoyment and all over Mysore people come to see. Till now many bollywood and kannada stars and singers have performed. It's a huge event in our college. Related to technical fest it happens every year and it is conducted by the 3rd year students. It happens according to branch wise but anyone college student can participate in this event.

Fees structure according to infrastructure is ohhk only. But the fees structure for new students are very high. For us it was 150000 including college fess and tuition fees. For juniors it's 190000 . It increased alott till now. We haven't seen any development till now. But college is becoming beautiful day by day according to infrastructure

Yes,their is scholarship from college to selected student and they get 25000 RS from college and that is better for the students who are very poor and cannot afford the fees structure.

Campus life is very exciting . Friends will be easily made here and all are nice friendly to everyone. People are nice here in college. Gender ratio is equal in every branch except in mechanical where all boys are there.There is no politics in college but students feel in college they can do more rowdism. There is no harsh or any problems for gender equality or societies and any religion

Hostel food is quite ohkk. If you are south indian then u can manage any food provided in the hostel but as a North Indian u cannot manage to eat everyday in hostel mess. The hostel fees structure is RS 73000 for two sharing and RS 67000 for three sharing.There are 60 rooms in hostel and three floors are there. In case if you are finding for PG , you will get upto RS 3500 to RS 4000. In hostel,washing machine and WiFi is there.

Our college seniors has passed out but they also are very nice people and they had the same reviews as ours for our college. As aevery student, every guy will love its college and always like it. I liked the college as my seniors they were very helpful and they enjoyed their college life.

Exam Structure is according to Visvesvaraya Technological University. So it's according to that. it is not an autonomous college so whatever paper u write it will checked in VTU.But exams are little hectic. Three hours of paper and then it finishes. It happens of 100 marks and 25 marks is of internal. For labs it's of 50 marks and 25 marks for internal. If u finish the lab early u can go otherwise u have to wait,as teachers are very strict and disciplined. For exams also starting 45 mins u cannot go after that u can go if u don't know what to write.

Their is COMEDK Counselling in which u have to go NMRKV College in Bangalore where ur counselling starts. you have to take one guardian with u and it's necessary. after opting my college I went to Mysore and went through the admission process. I had to pay 85000( 50000 I paid in Comedk Counselling) and also for hostel expenses I paid.

Faculty are very nice. They are very helpful and want us learn.They teach very nicely .Provide good skills to us. And they are highly qualified.Every Teacher has persuade MTECH Degree and they have a lot of knowledge in them. Every teacher knows how to express it and that's why they are the best teachers of our college.
