Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because this was one of the best available course for me and also because I developed a liking for the course. The ratio is 61:1 on average with each branch divided into sections of 4-5 on average with each class having around 60-65 students. The faculties are qualified and are good at teaching. Term exams were held on time and were moderate in difficulty
Internships Opportunities
Internships are available to almost all students from all the various branches in our college. The average stipend offered was around 1 lakhs with the high stipend being 2.5 lakhs per month. Companies like atlassian, google,microsoft, facebook,etc are some of the companies that provide internships in our college
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placements from 5 th semester onwards. The average package for our college last year was 16 lakhs with that of Electrical being 15.4 lakhs. Almost 80 % students get placed
Fees and Financial Aid
The total course cost per year is about 234000 rs including all the necessary costs and will cost one around 72000 rs more for hostel as well. There are various scholarships available for financially weak and reserved category students.
Campus Life
The annual fest held by dtu is called engifest and it is usually held in the month of February it is one of the largest fests in not only delhi buy all over north India having footfall even greater than that of iit delhi. We have all necessary amenities in our classrooms with our libraries being worldclass and having ample supplies. Our college has all sports facilities except swimming pool and squash court
Admission
Admissions are taken through the jee mains exam and further by applying through jac delhi counselling. Application form dates and fees are all conveyed on the jac delhi site and only for those students who have cleared jee mains examination. There is 85% reservation for delhi candidates that is candidates who completed their 12th from delhi nct area. The admission process is a bit confusing and can be made more simple.
