Likes

The labs , classrooms and the friendly nature of the the people
Campus is clean and safe for students you can spend your day peacefully
The faculty members are good and supportive they give question banks and explain things in deep with great clarification

Dislikes

Hostel fees Is very high compared all the things
The food in the college hostel is not that good students don't like the food and opt for the eating outside
The benches are not comfortable that much

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty and all the lab assistants all are good they help through out your Every difficulties . You can approach them anytime even though most people fear and don't go for it but surely they are very supportive

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 265000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is different for the people who are coming through different entries and different for all branches and streams. I pay 273000 which is the fee to be paid for those who are coming through comedk. There are lot of scholarship given by the Karnataka government and the college too like nsp,ssp,etc

Campus Life

You might feel the campus is a bit small compared to others yes it is , you can get a lot exposure excluding these . It is good if you are familiar with the surrounding people and environment , there are many clubs you can join and be part of it for 4 year's

Admission

I gave multiple entrance exams such as IIT-jee (mains and advance both) , kcet , srmjee , comedk too. I didn't get a good rank to be eligible for computer science stream for the btech course in the other entrance exams, I was getting ise in other good colleges also but I wanted to get cse only. I was preferring branch over colleges which I thought later was not a good thing. It somewhere depends on you only how dedicated and how interested are in that stream.

RNSIT : Best college for students

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college. Every year more than 30+ companies come to our college for recruitment . Our seniors from 7th semester get placed in many companies and before getting placed in the company our college offers internships to every student. Around 80 % of the students get placed in companies and work efficiently. The average package for civil engineering is 2.5 lakh per annum.

My College Review

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Over all IIT Dharwad is good not bad

Placement Experience:

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

Placement Experience:

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.
